Wow! The Acuna stuff is unreal! That could literally be on display in cooperstown at the HOF. I personally would deff have him sign the bat but I would leave the cleats as they are. It’s amazing that they still have the dirt on the bottom!

He said they were for his "Personal Collection" about 25 times. Can not write these items off, if he does and gets audited he's got big problems. Prob a good investment for his shop to draw people in but once he goes on a public forum and says over and over these are my "Personal Collection" his ability to use them as a tax right off for the business is gone! BTW, Sick Stuff, VERY Jealous of the Jordan Olympic Badge, Geoff if you EVER want to sell it, PLEASE hit me up! Cheers

Corporations do it all the time, its a loophole in the schedule c tax form. Examples include things like pawn shops, and brick and mortar stores.
I don’t think simply showing it on RUclips makes it a business expense. But there are definitely tax strategies with cards and collectibles… I’m not a tax expert but maybe I can bring one on for a future video.

The lebron collection is wild. I also collect the Lebron Topps Refractors specifically myself. Including the Rookie Black Refractor/500. I prolly have 15 refractors, but no golds. I would love to step it up and buy the Rookie Gold /50 one day. Ill gladly pay the six figures. Not a fan of the baseball cleats since shoes aged terribly. The bat and basketball is nice. I WOULD get them auto’d. The idea of the Wemby 1/1 rookie would be devalued if he hand signed it is one of the worst perspective you could have. The players auto always brings you closer than any PSA certification could give you.

The bumpers are ridiculous Jeff. If you're actually putting high end cards in them, you're stupid. But play at your own risk. Why you wouldn't have a bag around them, or a slabmag, not the trash bumpers.. Are they cool, sure. Are they really going to prevent scratching??? No. If you're dropping cards so much you need bumpers, you're in the wrong hobby to begin with.
