I took a cha cha workshop from a salsa on 1 school. And their timing was 1 2 cha cha cha, 5 6 cha cha cha which coincides with the cha cha beat of 6 7 8 n 1, 2 3 4 n 5. I am now so mess up as i try to unlearn and to relearn. But i am still not so sure why i cant continue to use 1 2 cha cha cha...

The cha cha music we dance to works best with the count 2-3 cha cha cha :)
