I love the Ronde Chasse, Anna!
The mantra for a great Ronde - my opinion - you do the Forward part of the Basic Movement, then, you "ronde" the front foot first, and put weight on that "ronded" foot behind second, and then, close the lead foot to the trail foot and end with your unweighted foot to the side.
So - forward, replace AND ronde immediately afterwards - put weight on that ronde foot behind other foot, close feet and side - is the mantra for the ronde-chasse.
