  • Emon Choudhury talks to Lyn Hughes, founder-editor of Wanderlust Travel Magazine, about his experience of winning the BBC's Race Across the World and how it inspired his campaign to raise £100,000 for a school for disadvantaged children in Nepal.
Emon and his nephew, Jamiul, won the 2020 series of BBC’s Race Across the World, in which five teams raced to see who could get first from Mexico City to the most southerly city in the world, Ushuaia. Emon and Jamiul then won the hearts of the nation when they donated most of their winnings to helping street kids in Brazil.
🔊 First broadcast: 9 May 2021 as part of Destinations presents Travel 2021.
