great video mate and also fantastic to see someone performing the back lever in supinated grip as those that perform know that it is significantly harder. cheers
Awesome video broo! This is probbably the best back llever tutorial I've ever seen. Now I have again motivation for back lever. I hope I willl learn this move finnaly :) Im looking forward to front lever tutorial;)
Very good video. Really clear, I have listened to the advice and tried not to be too impatient and to stick to the progressions. I feel more confident about what I need to do to succeed in this move now. I will get it! Thank you. Richie.
I find pronated grip easier than supinated even though i dont feel any kind of elbow pain discomfort in that area when using supinated. Still i find i can hold the position stronger in pronated. Even though their are more bang for the buck using supinated since it trains the brachialis muscles. Distal bicep tendon. But just a little tip to everyone training back lever is to warm up the elbows with high rep band tricep extensions biceps curls just a preventive meassure for bicep tear. Even though i have never had elbow pain or discomfort using both type of grips. The key to a stronger position hold is pronated shoulders. Also things like handstand push ups against the wall can help with the anterior deltoid extension strength since back lever is resisted shoulder extension. Also i did find that training things like back lever isometrics skin the cat isometrics did had a carryover effect on my ring muscle up. In the past i needed to be explosive to do the transition now i can do them slowly controlled without any effort. But thats after my experience.
How to know if one is ready to start back lever (or other skills) training? Ive been training only basics and progressing in those because Im afraid of some kind of injury by skill training.
Yo man . I just achieved the supinated grip back lever for about 5 secs ,although ive only worked my tuck bl , back excercises and skin the cats for a lot of time . Is that normal?
slightly challenging ??? if your bw is between 60-70 yes it could be.But if you re more than 85 this exercise create metabolic stress as deadlift. Anyone can be sure that.
Man, I opened 5 BL tutorials, and yours is the only one where the teacher speaks loud and clear.
This is the best back lever video yet, I’m trying to learn but none of the other videos r any good but this one is great

Does anyones legs wobble like crazy trying to stabilise during tuck BL? What’s that about? Are you not engaging abs/glutes properly?
For backlever pull-ups which grip type is best
what do you mean by "master" aprox. how long should you be able to hold the l sit for example? very good video btw you got yourself a new sub man
facile aprox like mutiple reps of the move or for the L-sit like holding it for 20-30seconds aprox i would say you have mastered it
Am I the only one who cant do skin the cat?I mean kids do them with no problem xD
Bro I have mastered tucked back lever but I still can't do advanced back lever can you help ?

9 Lives when you're in the back lever tense your abs, squeeze your gluteus(bum) and point your toes. Try strengthen your abs and lower back too

Can I try them on a low bar and just grab the bar behind me, instead of spinning my legs around? Or is it gonna be harder that way?
