The OSC is one of, if not THE most creative and expressive community on the internet. the show you create can be exactly how you want it to be. and the only limitation is that you have to use objects. some popular BFDI inspired shows are: Inanimate Insanity, Brawl Of The Object, Object Overload, etc.

To me, the only object shows that are well known/talked about a lot in the OSC are BFDI (all seasons but least being IDFB), II (but more III) and hfjONE. CFMOT and LOTS is a tiny bit but thats as far as the OSC TikTok. Tho, Im happy that this part of the osc ur talking abt give attention to other object shows. :]
I see everyone telling you not to skip, which is good, but I will let you know of another important thing when watching bfdi. After the voting screen, there are little after-credit scenes. While they're mostly little unimportant gags, the episodes after will sometimes reference back to them, and episode 8 has a really cool one. Also the after credits scenes have been becoming more important in later seasons, so if you get into the habit of not watching them you can miss important stuff when you DO get to tpot TLDR: There are after credits scenes you missed and should start watching.

Note for bijuu, you have a lot of catching up to do as tpot is only the latest series to come out of the 4 that exist, there is BFDI, BFDIA, (BFDIA is still in progress and has almost the same amount of episodes as tpot) BFB (BFB is finished) and TPOT. BFDI stands for BATTLE FOR DREAM ISLAND, BFDIA stands for BATTLE FOR DREAM ISLAND AGAIN, BFB stands for BATTLE FOR BFDI which later gets changed to BATTLE FOR BFB, and last but not least (because bfdia, even though existing for way longer has less episodes than TPOT) TPOT stands for THE POWER OF TWO. French fries doesn't appear until BFDI object joining auditions, french fries doesn't get voted in, french fries then again appears in bfdia and hasn't been eliminated just yet.

I’ve been watching bfdi since 2015, and I know I lot of people have been watching the series since when it first came out (almost 14 years ago) and I’m so happy to see bigger RUclipsrs actually recognize it and react to it, the next era of BFDI is here!
Ill say this. As someone who binged the ENTIRETY of this series (abt 14 hours in total) just vecause my brother watched it. It is quite the trip. But trust me, after watching it you'll feel more lost, yet more complete than when you started. Also pls do watch it all in order. There is a natural incline in quality of everything and it feels like you can see the years pass by.
The creators of this were 12 when they started this, it began as a school project! I will say, the first 2 seasons are pretty hard to keep up with understanding what is going on, but season 3 and tpot are way more cohesive and understandable since they were adults when they made those lol
I watched the first episode of BFDI back in 2010 when it was just a few days old. Watching Mike react to BFDI feels so weird but so awesome! Nostalgia trip with Mike, let's go!! :D

i've always loved the first season of the show. despite it being made by kids it has some pretty good jokes and some of the episodes are very well written! i hope you will enjoy as much as we did!
If you really want to skip to newer episodes, I would recommend watching bfb, it’s kinda like the rebirth of the franchise in the sense that is similar to the very first episode so you don’t need as much context to understand. There are obviously many references to previous episodes, but you can understand 90% without watching previous episodes.
The reason why some of the characters are not here is because in the first season of BFDI, there are only 20 contestants. BFDIA (aka. the second season) had 10 returning contestants and 12 new contestants. IDFB (the 3rd season) was mostly just a daily life episode (heads up, BFDIA and IDFB isn't finished yet because it was supposed to be cancelled because of the creators Adsense account getting banned in 2014 but later reinstated in 2016 [or more canonically it was cancelled because of budget cuts])(IDFB's next episode will probably be made after BFDIA is finished). BFB (the fourth season) had 64 contestants and TPOT having 43 contestants. (I won't explain how it was decreased down because it will be a massive spoiler to you)

I didn't expect you to react to BFDI but I'm really glad you did. Just to tell you now though, after the credits there's usually an extra scene just before the video ends. They're usually very important later on so make sure you watch the episode all the way till the end. That is if you'll continue reacting to it which I hope you do.
Here’s a character guide for you if you decide to keep reacting to this series. (I hope you do.) Speaker Box: The host of the show who talks with a text to speech program. Blocky: Blocky is a male character and is a red wooden cube. He has a fondness for playing pranks on others and only really cares about himself and his friends. Bubble: Bubble is a female character. She’s very fragile, so she has something called a recovery center. Whenever she dies, her recovery center just brings her back. She also made an alliance with Match and Pencil in episode 1. Coiny: A male character who resembles a golden coin. He regularly gets in arguments and slap fights with his rival, Firey. Eraser: A male character who is friends with Pen, Blocky, and Snowball. To be honest, he’s not very interesting in season 1. Firey: A male character made only of fire. He has a fear of water because it’ll kill him. He also regularly gets into arguments and slap fights with his rival, Coiny. He can also be a bit of an air head. Flower: A female character who’s main personality is just being mean. She gets more interesting after a very long while, but for now, she’s just a jerk. Golf Ball: A female character who also sometimes goes by GB. She’s bossy, but also very intelligent. She’s also friends with Tennis Ball. Ice Cube: A female character who also sometimes goes by Icy. She’s a somewhat quiet contestant who wanted to join Pencil, Match, and Bubble’s alliance in episode 1, but they rejected her. Leafy: A female character who loves being kind to others. She doesn’t want anyone feeling left out or disrespected which is why she decided to befriend Ice Cube after the alliance rejected her. Match: A female character who is best friends with Pencil. Match is slightly more laid back than Pencil, but still tends to stay by her side. Needle: Needle is a female character who’s fairly normal. The only thing that really stands out about her in season 1 is that she hates being called Needy. Pen: A male contestant who is likely the most normal character. A bit like Mahiru from Danganronpa in that sense. He’s friends with Blocky, Snowball, and Eraser, and is the most tame out of the four of them. Pencil: A female character who considers herself the leader of her alliance with Match and Bubble. She’s best friends with Match and is decently similar in personality with her. Although, she’s a bit stricter than Match. Pin: A female character who resembles a red tack. In season 1, she’s kinda mean and abuses her power as the “leader” of her team. Rocky: A male character who’s just a Little Rock who likes to exist. By that, I mean he doesn’t really do anything. Well, there is one thing he does, but I won’t spoil it for you. You’ll find out sooner than later. Snowball: A male character who acts very tough. He won’t hesitate to get into fights with others and also hates Golf Ball for being so bossy. Sometimes goes by SB. Spongy: A male contestant known for being the biggest character by far. In season 1, his personality is basically being fat. He gets a lot of flack for it. Teardrop: A female contestant who resembles a drop of water. She doesn’t talk at all, but she’s very smart. She’s good at thinking outside the box and finding other ways to communicate. Although, she can be a bit aggressive. Tennis Ball: A male character who is good friends with Golf Ball, despite her attitude. He is also very intelligent, but is much more humble than Golf Ball. He also sometimes goes by TB. Woody (My personal favorite): A male character who is often mistaken for being a piece of bread. He’s actually a piece of balsa wood. Yeah, it would be best if you watched the series in chronological order instead of jumping around. You’ll be way confused if you do that (Yes, there are callbacks to previous events/seasons). Also there are five seasons to this show - BFDI, BFDIA, IDFB, BFB & TPOT. Currently, only seasons one and four are finished. Season two was abandoned ten years ago but revived recently, and season three is in complete limbo. Also Season five isn’t going anywhere, so be prepared for new episodes to release. But for now, enjoy Battle For Dream Island!
@@lightuptheray4799 tbh to me its crazy in a positive way bc think of it. BFDI was made in 2010, animation platforms arent like how they were now. Creators behind BFDI Cary and Michael Huang were only 12 at the time they started it. Each episode would be made and uploaded in roughly a month each for 3 years straight. With only having four weeks to animate knowing how difficult it is + school life taking off more time, its pretty spectacular to me. Though Cary and Michael are really smart and spectacular people in general. BFDI is one of the many things that The Huang Twins were able to make at a young age going forward.
I still think BFDI 1 is a great self-explanation of what this whole "object show" genre is about. You can see the characters interacting and all, and you see they are objects. Then in 1b, they get to form teams, which introduces you to the competition part of object shows.

A personal recommendation from me because it tells us more about how the other season started (BFB 16) with the context of where the other contest started (BFB 1)

What I'm saying is when the next tpot or bfdia episode comes out, (bfdia most likely next) you can vote, but there is a deadline, so don't be late! The comments were used to vote, however bfdia and tpot have differemt voting styles. Bfdia uses likes and dislikes on a video, most dislikes = elimination, most likes= prize. Tpot uses a voting system with letters and square brackets, tpot voting looks like this [I] in bfdi, most votes = elimination

So basically, BFDi is a series that’s spans think a decade of just random objects doing a contest for prize in the first season. it’s the BFDi in the second season, due to spoiler reasons they’re battling for a different dream island but that’s it. We didn’t see it continue long time we thought it got canceled but recently continued how that works I think flashback and also about all of the new characters. They’re all recommended by the fans to get in the show the ones you’re seeing in the first episode are the very first ones and that’s basically it without going into spoilers.
Honestly, I think BFB is a great starting point for newer viewers. BFDI has it's moments, but it's very rough (especially in the first half). BFDIA is very dependent on BFDI so it won't make much sense if you skip to it. IDFB is a sort of epilogue to BFDIA since that show was left unfinished for years. BFB has a few inside jokes to the older seasons, but it's pretty much a reboot of the series in every other regard. TPOT is great but it needs context from BFB.
To clear some of the confusion with BFDIA The show had started well over 10 years ago, though, it went on a hiatus after its 5th episode. But then, around a month ago, it came back with the 6th episode, so if you do notice the change of quality/the different voice cast, it's because of that. With that said, I really do hope you enjoy the show as much as I did!

i think one of the writers said in the bfdi discord server that the bfdia announcer set up was cancelled and after bfdia 5 announcer doesnt own bfdia anymore but its still going

One thing you should know before watching BFDI is that BFDIA (season 2 of BFDI) got cancelled after episode 5 came out and recently it got continued so when you get to BFDIA don’t ask „why are there only 7 episodes in this season“ (also IDFB (season 3) is on hiatus).
BFDI Lore: leaf steal island from fire and fire get angry and also leaf goes to purple fruit world and becomes metal and also there is evil leaf and also there are number aliens and yaaa oh yeah and i forgot uhm science lab in purple world had this one guy with spiky bat who broke a vase
I shall explain. A season before TPOT, we had BFB. BFB is a giant season with 64 contestants and on episode 16, another host went in and stole some of the contestant leaving 14 in BFB and the rest competing in TPOT.

Yes. BFDI is amazing. I’ve been a fan of it since 2018 and I’m really happy you watched it. But I don’t think I’d recommend starting out with Tpot. Things will be a little confusing for newcomers

Note for bijuu, you have a lot of catching up to do as tpot is only the latest series to come out of the 4 that exist, there is BFDI, BFDIA, (BFDIA is still in progress and has almost the same amount of episodes as tpot) BFB (BFB is finished) and TPOT. BFDI stands for BATTLE FOR DREAM ISLAND, BFDIA stands for BATTLE FOR DREAM ISLAND AGAIN, BFB stands for BATTLE FOR BFDI which later gets changed to BATTLE FOR BFB, and last but not least (because bfdia, even though existing for way longer has less episodes than TPOT) TPOT stands for THE POWER OF TWO. French fries doesn't appear until BFDI object joining auditions, french fries doesn't get voted in, french fries then again appears in bfdia and hasn't been eliminated just yet.

Ill say this. As someone who binged the ENTIRETY of this series (abt 14 hours in total) just vecause my brother watched it. It is quite the trip. But trust me, after watching it you'll feel more lost, yet more complete than when you started.
Also pls do watch it all in order. There is a natural incline in quality of everything and it feels like you can see the years pass by.
The creators of this were 12 when they started this, it began as a school project! I will say, the first 2 seasons are pretty hard to keep up with understanding what is going on, but season 3 and tpot are way more cohesive and understandable since they were adults when they made those lol

If you really want to skip to newer episodes, I would recommend watching bfb, it’s kinda like the rebirth of the franchise in the sense that is similar to the very first episode so you don’t need as much context to understand. There are obviously many references to previous episodes, but you can understand 90% without watching previous episodes.

i first watched bfdi when pre split bfb was new
The reason why some of the characters are not here is because in the first season of BFDI, there are only 20 contestants. BFDIA (aka. the second season) had 10 returning contestants and 12 new contestants. IDFB (the 3rd season) was mostly just a daily life episode (heads up, BFDIA and IDFB isn't finished yet because it was supposed to be cancelled because of the creators Adsense account getting banned in 2014 but later reinstated in 2016 [or more canonically it was cancelled because of budget cuts])(IDFB's next episode will probably be made after BFDIA is finished). BFB (the fourth season) had 64 contestants and TPOT having 43 contestants. (I won't explain how it was decreased down because it will be a massive spoiler to you)

Speaker Box: The host of the show who talks with a text to speech program.
Blocky: Blocky is a male character and is a red wooden cube. He has a fondness for playing pranks on others and only really cares about himself and his friends.
Bubble: Bubble is a female character. She’s very fragile, so she has something called a recovery center. Whenever she dies, her recovery center just brings her back. She also made an alliance with Match and Pencil in episode 1.
Coiny: A male character who resembles a golden coin. He regularly gets in arguments and slap fights with his rival, Firey.
Eraser: A male character who is friends with Pen, Blocky, and Snowball. To be honest, he’s not very interesting in season 1.
Firey: A male character made only of fire. He has a fear of water because it’ll kill him. He also regularly gets into arguments and slap fights with his rival, Coiny. He can also be a bit of an air head.
Flower: A female character who’s main personality is just being mean. She gets more interesting after a very long while, but for now, she’s just a jerk.
Golf Ball: A female character who also sometimes goes by GB. She’s bossy, but also very intelligent. She’s also friends with Tennis Ball.
Ice Cube: A female character who also sometimes goes by Icy. She’s a somewhat quiet contestant who wanted to join Pencil, Match, and Bubble’s alliance in episode 1, but they rejected her.
Leafy: A female character who loves being kind to others. She doesn’t want anyone feeling left out or disrespected which is why she decided to befriend Ice Cube after the alliance rejected her.
Match: A female character who is best friends with Pencil. Match is slightly more laid back than Pencil, but still tends to stay by her side.
Needle: Needle is a female character who’s fairly normal. The only thing that really stands out about her in season 1 is that she hates being called Needy.
Pen: A male contestant who is likely the most normal character. A bit like Mahiru from Danganronpa in that sense. He’s friends with Blocky, Snowball, and Eraser, and is the most tame out of the four of them.
Pencil: A female character who considers herself the leader of her alliance with Match and Bubble. She’s best friends with Match and is decently similar in personality with her. Although, she’s a bit stricter than Match.
Pin: A female character who resembles a red tack. In season 1, she’s kinda mean and abuses her power as the “leader” of her team.
Rocky: A male character who’s just a Little Rock who likes to exist. By that, I mean he doesn’t really do anything. Well, there is one thing he does, but I won’t spoil it for you. You’ll find out sooner than later.
Snowball: A male character who acts very tough. He won’t hesitate to get into fights with others and also hates Golf Ball for being so bossy. Sometimes goes by SB.
Spongy: A male contestant known for being the biggest character by far. In season 1, his personality is basically being fat. He gets a lot of flack for it.
Teardrop: A female contestant who resembles a drop of water. She doesn’t talk at all, but she’s very smart. She’s good at thinking outside the box and finding other ways to communicate. Although, she can be a bit aggressive.
Tennis Ball: A male character who is good friends with Golf Ball, despite her attitude. He is also very intelligent, but is much more humble than Golf Ball. He also sometimes goes by TB.
Woody (My personal favorite): A male character who is often mistaken for being a piece of bread. He’s actually a piece of balsa wood. He’s scared of everything, even things that don’t make any sense, like bubbles or the color grey.

Yeah, it would be best if you watched the series in chronological order instead of jumping around. You’ll be way confused if you do that (Yes, there are callbacks to previous events/seasons). Also there are five seasons to this show - BFDI, BFDIA, IDFB, BFB & TPOT. Currently, only seasons one and four are finished. Season two was abandoned ten years ago but revived recently, and season three is in complete limbo. Also Season five isn’t going anywhere, so be prepared for new episodes to release. But for now, enjoy Battle For Dream Island!

@@lightuptheray4799 tbh to me its crazy in a positive way bc think of it. BFDI was made in 2010, animation platforms arent like how they were now. Creators behind BFDI Cary and Michael Huang were only 12 at the time they started it. Each episode would be made and uploaded in roughly a month each for 3 years straight. With only having four weeks to animate knowing how difficult it is + school life taking off more time, its pretty spectacular to me. Though Cary and Michael are really smart and spectacular people in general. BFDI is one of the many things that The Huang Twins were able to make at a young age going forward.

I still think BFDI 1 is a great self-explanation of what this whole "object show" genre is about. You can see the characters interacting and all, and you see they are objects. Then in 1b, they get to form teams, which introduces you to the competition part of object shows.
fun fact: the creator of BFDI is now 26 and born on march 18th 1997. his name is cary huang if you want to do any more research for yourself.

So basically, BFDi is a series that’s spans think a decade of just random objects doing a contest for prize in the first season. it’s the BFDi in the second season, due to spoiler reasons they’re battling for a different dream island but that’s it. We didn’t see it continue long time we thought it got canceled but recently continued how that works I think flashback and also about all of the new characters. They’re all recommended by the fans to get in the show the ones you’re seeing in the first episode are the very first ones and that’s basically it without going into spoilers.
It’s confusing at first but the more you watch the easier to understand

Honestly, I think BFB is a great starting point for newer viewers.
BFDI has it's moments, but it's very rough (especially in the first half).
BFDIA is very dependent on BFDI so it won't make much sense if you skip to it.
IDFB is a sort of epilogue to BFDIA since that show was left unfinished for years.
BFB has a few inside jokes to the older seasons, but it's pretty much a reboot of the series in every other regard.
TPOT is great but it needs context from BFB.
To clear some of the confusion with BFDIA
The show had started well over 10 years ago, though, it went on a hiatus after its 5th episode. But then, around a month ago, it came back with the 6th episode, so if you do notice the change of quality/the different voice cast, it's because of that.
With that said, I really do hope you enjoy the show as much as I did!

One thing you should know before watching BFDI is that BFDIA (season 2 of BFDI) got cancelled after episode 5 came out and recently it got continued so when you get to BFDIA don’t ask „why are there only 7 episodes in this season“ (also IDFB (season 3) is on hiatus).

Ive been Watching BFDI For a while now,Like ever since 2014,Im very happy its getting more recognition,How should watch the entire series!
Unrelated to BFDI, If Bijuu wants to see more stuff like BFDI but less childish he should watch The Nightly Manor or ONE.
To be honest, the first 8 episodes are a little childish and strange (I mean it was made by 2 middle schoolers) but after that it really picks up

Like every one of these comments, finish BFDI (Battle for Dream Island) and then watch BFDIA (Battle For Dream Island Again) , then IDFB (Island Dream for Battle) and BFB (Battle For Bfdi) is a great show. TPOT is still happening, but I’m not gonna say what it stands for since I consider it to be a spoiler. Too bad flower doesn’t get any screen time in any of these shows..

Bfdi : has 25 episodes and is currently completed
Bfdia: seven episodes was canceled, but came back recently and is still going
Idfb: only has one episode, but will be continued after Bfdia
Bfb: 30 episodes and is currently complete
Tpot: eight episodes, and is still going along with bfdia

The only reason 1b exists is because in 2010 you couldn't upload videos longer than 10 minutes. It's meant to be considered one in the same as the previous episode

Yes. BFDI is amazing. I’ve been a fan of it since 2018 and I’m really happy you watched it. But I don’t think I’d recommend starting out with Tpot. Things will be a little confusing for newcomers
This is great, I like how some amazing games and Web series are starting to become way more popular thanks to youtubers like Bijuu Mike.
