I saw these guys four years ago with The Receiving End of Sirens, Days Away, and Circa Survive. One of the best shows I have ever seen. After the show, my buddies and I smoked out with Kyle (the singer) and the guitarist. Haha.
This is such an interesting album to me in that if you listen the whole way through there is no screaming/metal vocals. Just clean singing and emotional/passionate sounding at times. In the era this came out where mixed screaming and singing dominated, they chose to only sing but damn is he an extremely talented singer, no screaming is necessary. Brown eyed deception had more screaming but both are still great in there own terms.
Nah that was probably the new drummer. These guys were from Las Vegas and played shows a lot in St George, Utah. And the original band members were awesome. Then the lineup changed and the styles from the new members weren't what Kyle wanted so he left. And yes, there were previously known as Brown Eyed Deception. I still have their demo songs :D
@Matt777shxt well the lead singer is actually my cousin and he's the most down to earth guy you could ever meet. No way could you call Kyle a dick. He is seriously the most kind-hearted true person there is.
love evr, but this band kinda jumped on at the end of this type of music.. average at best, guitar work reminds me of thrice's artist in the ambulance around a min in same kinda swells.. not bad tho.
This brought me right back to my youth. Some of the greatest moments of my life were watching these dudes play live shows
still listening in 2012, shows how awesome they are. It sadens me how overlooked this band is.
Still listening in 2022, I saw these guys when they opened for Circa Survive. Feeling real nostalgic right now
That was such a great show!!!
Wouldn't believe me but, Logan was in a band with me called The Murder Ballad wayyyyyy back in the day.
2021 and still listening to the homies
Still one of my favorite songs of all time probably. Bring back You In Series
Brown eyed deception!!!

Saw these guys with 65 days of static and fearbeforethemarch in San Antonio so many years ago. Extremely extremely great band.
For real right... the best music was during my high school years. Love this song.
I bought a pawn shop guitar and a sticker of this band was on it.
Oh god. Used to forget this amazing song I also used to listen 4 years ago.........just had to check my favourite videos....... memories come back
Super good song from a great era of this kinda music. Love it! Timeless

Really? Because I heard this band screwed up their career because the singer was using too many drugs.
Yes I met him several times as a kid and he was so sweet to us even though I'm sure we were very annoying
probably was right, inst that always the story, they had line up changes and a name change, they were previously known as brown eyed deception.
i cant find the download anywer
I remember playing drums for these guys. They were awesome but over looked due to being a Christian band.
they were a christian band? o.O
@ChewChewTrain89 I know i just bitched them out, kyle was the nicest person
decent shit
