Be happy that you have!! Every album they’ve put out is amazing, they haven’t dropped a bad one since forming in 2004. Very rare for a band of any genre.
It’s 2005, you just got back from school and turn on Fuse. Oven Fresh is on! Then you see it. Someone scribbling on a yellow notepad. The music starts playing. You feel cheated on and heart broken but you have never been in a relationship before. It also makes you feel calm and content and you continue listening to one of your future favorite band.
Don't know what Fuse is, don't know what Oven Fresh is & had been in multiple relationships before the age of 17, in 2005. Not sure if CS or Saosin were favourite bands by then, but probably.

I started going to warped tour in 05 at 12 haha got to see so many amazing bands such motion city soundtrack and senses fail. Fuck yes to all the 30 something’s who get it.
I've seen the Used once at the House Blues in Myrtle Beach SC (aka dirty Myrtle) My friend Amber (who I still have saved as amBERT in my phone) and I scored a great spot at the barricade between the center and the right side of the stage. I remember wearing a cream colored shirt and Ole Bert spat red wine on left stage, and walked over spat water on my side of the crowd) I was thankful that it was h2o at the time, But thinking back on it now, I kind of wish he had spit the red wine on my shirt so I could have kept it as memorabilia. 😂 After the show however, we went out back behind the venue and got to meet the band of course except Bert. Jeff signed my solid black vans with the silver sharpie but my dad threw those away because I had kept them and warned them for so long afterward they were in terrible condition and he didn't want me wearing those out in public fearing that people would think we were neglected. Which we were not 😂 I just liked the whole worn/aged look. Anyways... I never had the privilege to go to warped tour, but in a way I'm thankful because I don't think I would have liked having to endure the summer heat for a full weekend and navigating to find all the different stages to see the specific bands I wanted to see. But I love that you got to see the used, and Paramore.. I got to see rise against and A Day to remember several years ago and it was such a great show. I have a little tidbit to add on that but I'll wait and see if I get a response before I write an entire novella
