Just revisited this, it's my go-to watch for when I'm getting ready to clip our TT Parsley. We cut Parsleys under side short ( 3/8") he likes to lay on the tiled floor to cool off plus he pees high. I can see that Parsleys coat is curly compared to this one. I'm trying to get the transition from straight head hair to curly neck hair right. I've left the curly hair on his neck to grow with the head hair for a while so I can tell where it will lay down. Thank you
I have two cottons that come in that look very much like this dog. I've thought about trying a skirt on them, but I just have a feeling it would be a matted mess within a week or two. I do like this style though. Also, I love the Kenchi Scorpions. My go-to shears, especially the curved.
As a new groomer I have a basic question - dematting before using a comb attachment. I have a 1yo toy poodle and a 1yo shi tzu with very fine all over the body little mats like a cobweb. Owners do not comb. They come every 2 months. Do you dematt before the bath or after, and what is your detangler product to make it easier on the dog ? Thank you for the videos!
tg tg marshmallow spray is amazing. I would use it before the bath tho as it’s pretty heavy in consistency. But I’ve dematted some dogs with it that probably would have otherwise been shaved. It almost melts the matting. Hope that helps.

The skirt can become matted, I told the owner if it gets matted, I am taking it off. She brushes him really good though. Thanks for watching.
Such a good boy
