Kirkman is the man. What a down to earth guy. Lucky that you guys get to have extended conversations with these guys!

I respect any comics professional who can make a non superhero comic successful in this day and age.

Especially about zombies which are generic as hell.

Then you clearly haven’t read manga and manhwa (Korean webtoons) because the Japanese and Koreans have done it for years and are still doing it. I recommend trying them.

I grew up in central Kentucky and remember seeing Robert and Cory Walker in local comic shops (this was around the time TWD and Invincible was just starting)
and I have to say he is as humble now as he was then. Robert is an amazing writer and continues to do great things for the comics medium!

Jim, you just blew my mind… “TV has to be hypnotic. We (viewers) are the product. ADVERTISERS are the consumers!”

Two great interviews in one week (really, three days)! Don't change anything you are doing, the questions and banter work to give unique interviews. Thank you for everything you do.

I won't say he coined the term, but the first time I heard "story engine" was years ago from Warren Ellis.

I’ve read an advance retailer copy of the Firepower OGN the Kirkman mentions and really enjoyed it. Samnee’s art alone should be enough to check it out though.

Kirkman drew a prologue to Spawn #200 and he did a great job! Now, McFarlane inks might have helped too but the man can draw.

The swapping out of creative teams and the disruption by the regular crossover events is the sole reason why I've stopped buying Marvel and DC. I'm good with the writers, artists and cultural changes, but the constant changing up and expensive events was just abusive.
