- M35 rear disc brake conversion! I’m going to walk you through how to get this done. This is was a really cool job and an absolute blast of a project. If you wanna know how to get your truck to stop faster check out this video.
This is the parts list as follows:
•2002 Ford F-350 dually 4x4 rear brake pads, rotors, and calipers from power stop and is their Z36 kit x2
•1989 Lincoln continental right rear brake line was the pattern used for the lines being made by brake hoses unlimited.
•Brackets from Keith on the m35 page

Yeah, these worked fine until a wheel cylinder blew. This was our decided solution.
It definitely stops better now than it dead then that’s for damn sure.

Well, thats a good start. Like to see you convert the front to disk brakes then put power steering and while your at it get rid of that airpack single master cylinder setup and install a hydroboost master cylinder.
That is all in the plans. I don’t know if it’ll be me who does the work or if it’ll be Kylle, the owner of the truck. But I do hope we get to see it here on RUclips. If it’s me Itll be here for sure! I’ll do my best to encourage Kylle if it’s not haha.

Not yet. The owner has it in the plans though. So it should make it here on RUclips.
also did you use 2002 or 2004 calipers? im not sure if they are the same.. Thanks
2002 there the same im pretty sure. I think there the same till today. But don’t take my word on that haha.
Hey i got an m35a2 just put in a new air pack and bled the system with dot5 worked fine for a while but the pedal gets real stiff and i have no brakes any idea?
You’re not losing air pressure right? That would be the symptom you’re talking about. If your air alarms are working they should be screaming at you.
I agree likely loosing air or compressor isn’t building air like it should
Would you provide a link to the exact brake hoses unlimited product that you used? When I go to their website I can't seem to locate the correct ones.
