    Did you have to replace the hydraulic brake buster and the master cylinder?

      The brake booster was on the list of parts I bought, but I did need to replace the master cylinder as well.

    With the disc brake upgrade is it still air over hydraulic?

      Thanks for your question and subscribing! The answer is yes, it’s still air over hydraulic.

    Would that kit work with the duals, or are they for the super single?

    • @chopperbuilder70
      @chopperbuilder70  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for your question! They don’t take up any more room than the drums they replaced at all. Boyce Equipment makes no mention if they are strictly for super singles, so I would be pretty positive that they would fine for the factory duals.

    What was in the kit? I have a lot of stuff from Boyce, their customer service and directions suck! Well done, Thanks!

      The discs, pads, calipers, caliper mounting adapters, hoses and hardware. I had to fab up brackets for the hoses to keep them in place and I also ordered seals and gaskets to service the bearings while I was in there. I had no issue with the customer service, but agreed the instructions (pictures) did lack. They did say they are going to provide better ones with a video link on the website in future. Thanks for your question! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

      How much does that kit cost and did you adapt it over to dual circuit system. Can you still run the dual 900×20 ndcc tires

      Thank you sir Rob for your quick reply. Actually I do have my own truck (1940's military truck) . My late father acquired it in 1959. It was converted to a logging truck during the time. Eventually he acquired another 8 units. But as of the moment, it downs to two. In 1980's we converted the under chassis to M35a differentials front to read. I was fascinated on your video. That's why I ask if there's another video. I want to convert my front differential from drum break to disk breaking system. If you may I have a video of my truck in action on RUclips. Please look for "Bataan Woodpicker" (not Woodpecker). Thank you sir

      Thanks! I was thinking of doing this myself. But wasn't sure. I never can seem to get the drum brakes set right... 15 tries later and my brakes still seem squishy. Not to mention fighting constant leaks from the wheel cylinders... every time it sits for a month or two and I got a new leak to deal with 🤦‍♂️
