This is his schtick. This is what his channel is, he knows what he's doing, and does the "mistakes" for laughs. There was ONE time that it was real, and he almost died.
LOL. I was banned from school for a week for making Remote (RF) controlled bomb for science exhibition, back in 1996, using a radio receiver and self made FM transmitter and detonator. I was in 8th grade of my school.
@@shorge37 It's a Back to the Future joke, they need 1.21GW in order to time travel, the Flux Capacitor is what let's them do it, it's like the key component. It's not a proper capacitor in the films and doesn't have a value assigned to it as far as I know. But yes, capacitors are measured in Farads (milli, micro, pico, etc).
I'm sure most of you already know this, but it needs to be said: though pure water is non-conductive, water that you find in nature is never pure. Water needs to be processed to be rendered non-conductive, and the stuff in ElectroBOOM's watering can was almost certainly tap water which is conductive. So what I'm saying is don't go dipping extension cords into water-filled tubs or something just because ElectroBOOM said water is non-conductive.
Without water - foil inside too with a chain leading from the terminal also works well 🙏👍 love the comedic content - I was making a SGTC once and had constructed an MMC array of small caps - which I had wrapped in electrical tape - they kept blowing as I think my tuning was seriously out - so upon disassembly and without bleed resistors each good one still has full charge - that investigation/ repair was painfully shocking 😂😂😂😂🤬🤬🤬🤬🫨🫨🫨🤣🤣🤣🙏👊
I'm looking for something a little smaller and some kind of charge indicator. I use a backpack vacuum at least 2 hours a day and pick up a serious charge as well. Ideally it would fit in my back pocket just throwing it out there
Let's see: Low voltage doesn't hurt. High voltage, low energy gives us the painful experiences, that we enjoy so much, but it doesn't actually make you any more dead. Luckily, Medhi came up with a solution: High voltage capacitors, allowing to store much more energy.
Hey ElectroBOOM, i see so many people just making jars and static shocks but i dont see anyone using that power to possibly power something else. I was wondering who to ask first, i figured you would be one of the honest people to do so.
Next time, "silver coat" the outside of your jar. The liquid chemicals that make a mirror. You can then copper plate the silver. You'll get even more of an electric spark out of your homemade compasitor. 😮
If he misses his video schedule one day I would be worried about his life 😂😂😂
Does he even have a specific upload schedule day?
I think that he is actually immune to electricity😂
@@akunashinobarachan5408 one would hope.
jokes aside id not worry, he is actually very well educated about this stuff. the only time he was really in danger was in the jacobs ladder video.
It's his funny nature 😅 that makes these shorts great lol cause I am always getting electrocuted
It makes this even funnier that he forgot to unground himself 😂

I agree fully 😂😂😂
i need to unground my self 😂😂😂😂😂
You should start a petition to put that on a website😂
Build it in school 20 years ago. My teacher send me me home. She was not happy getting shocked aufter 200 Strokes

Water: isnt conductive
The toaster on my bathtub: "and i took that personally"
It is true though. Water is not conductive. As a matter of fact, it's an excellent insulator. Now, the metals and minerals dissolved in the water...
@@roetemeteor (Meaning only pure water isn't conductive.)
@@aliciawelch3127 Even pure water is somewhat conductive because of ionization of the water molecule, but it is negligible.

Next: making a Flux Capacitor with 1.21 GigaWatts capacity.
haha
isn't the capacity measured in Farades?

You spelled "jiggawatts" wrong.
Don't tempt him.
"here's 10,573 strokes"

Glad you weren't touching it at 50 strokes
If it takes fifty strokes, to get you there, you are a genius.
