Mule would have worked, Mule, and Western. Well, you've got a very pretty boss, and no overlapping. As you were narrating, I could see all the action going on almost, with the old postal cars, and the fancy for it's day passenger car, it's still really nice to look at the past. The good old days long gone. Another excellent video of very interesting history. Thanks. Oh, and turn on the likes.

    Hey Marty
Just watched another amazing SSS video about Boulder City and heard her mention that you had your own channel. So naturally, I had to check it out. I loved the video, because who doesn't love old trains. Not only were they iconic pieces of Americana history, but nothing beats the sight and sounds of steam locomotives. I have subscribed with full notifications and will be watching for the next great adventures from SSS and Meandering Marty. Until then stay safe and God bless.

That was really interesting. Looking at those insides you have to wonder how those engines even moved.

Cool video Marty! There's a railroad museum in Dennison, Ohio. It has some railroad equipment and there's also exhibits in the train cars too. If you guys ever get out that way, it's worth a visit.

There are two cabooses that have been retrofitted to where you can stay in them, just outside of Calhoun, MO, off of the KATY trail. My youngest brother and I, rode our bikes to them, and stayed one night, pretty neat.

Parts of that train was dated 1953.
What else happened in 1953 that changed the way guys think?
That's right -- Marilyn Monroe was the first Playboy Centerfold in 1953.
    Allegedly.

Was that a spitoon next to the desk in the caboose? Or a potty pot? The passenger car sort of reminds me of the old show "The Wild West" with Robert Conrad and Ross Martin. If you like trains, you'd like this old show. I loved that show when I was a little girl cowboy, in the 60's. Because both of my uncles who lived in Arizona also were cowboys (they wore cowboy hats) and I was the only girl cousin so of course I was a cowboy!

Good eye that was an old brass spittoon and great story. Thanks again for watching.

The middle wheels, usually the driver wheels providing the power.

Yes the drive wheels are the center number, thanks for your input and interest.
