That Sherman brooch was an amazing find! Wow!!! I hardly ever look at costume jewelry like that. Just for gold or silver. I think I'll start looking for signed pieces.

That leather case is awesome. I was surprised that you listed it as antique rather than vintage. How did you determine its age? This is becoming the Jerry Show, now he is bringing in his own guest lineup. :-)
Mostly based on what the seller told us, and then finding comparables online were also referred to as antique.. this one was tricky so it was best guess based on what we were told and could find online in terms of "antique leather locking case".
Great price on the Sherman brooch! The signature plates that are oval on the back are supposed to be the earlier pieces and the more oblong are later but really makes no different for prices.japanned settings are most sought after!

The 2 brands of costume jewelry we look for are *SHERMAN* and *CORO.* Both vintage, usually signed (but not always) and VALUABLE!

No we are finding lots of it here... but people want alot for it for some reason.
Cheap here. Good quality too. Just depends how popular it is. Flower frogs were expensive here for awhile, and cheap in Indiana.
