Great video mate , I love scrapping TVs , I’ve got around 30 various size TVs waiting for me to collect from a tv repair shop , he keeps everything for me 😁😁
@ he stores them in a big room above the shop for me I will need to go soon pick them up so he has an empty room so he can carry on keeping things for me 😂
@34:01 that looks like a spark gap protection.. usually magnesium in them.. usually glass is a fuse diode or a diode.. specially with the band closer to one side.. ..but also can be a resistor lol.. I don't think any of them use gold.. if you take off one leg and lift up the marking under it might say what it is by symbol .. SG to me would mean Spark Gap.. and great video!!!

Hint: take the ribbons off before you unscrew the boards.
@majortom1164 i knew the second I did that, but when your half way through, the camera don't stop rolling lol so everyone learned a valuable lesson 😉
