hey if you feel like it there seems to be a new android tv box with a newer amlogic processor the s922x, the names are a little messed up but its the a95x max plus. price starts a little high at about 150 but it supports an internal 2.5" hard drive, its a little hexagon tower with usb on the front. with the price point and the fact you can put a hard drive inside it it has more starting storage and takes a microsd card and while i know it wont be as fast as the nvidia shield tube it would be interesting to see.
Pls dont use that s922x , it is bad for games streaming had some issue freezing image when gaming with Geforce Now but other than that with android gaming it runs very well. Big mystery ...
In my experience (gigabit down and 35 mbps up) I can load the interfaces but once I launch a game the audio gets chippy and the game freezes. Everytime.
Is there anything like subsonic but for video games so you could setup something like your own personal stadia that you could access and play anywhere not just your house?
Idk why but on my chromecast it doesn't work at all. AMD Link is extremly lagging. Steam Link isn't even usable, crashing every 5 sec. I also made the mistake too invest into the ethernet adapter for the CCWGT. Didn't solve anything. So i guess Game Streaming will stay a dream for me...
Can you give us your settings for Steam Link? I have a great internet connection. Both my PC and my Chromecast are hooked up on ethernet as well but for some reason Steam Link is super slow. Any suggestions?
Official Stadia App is due January 2021 I think they said. Probably need to work on an optimisation for this device. They have specifically said it will probably work but it isn't official supported just yet.
I'm kind of curious, whether you need to pay extra for the "google tv" part of the chromecast, or if you can run emulators just with the sit alone device that costs around 30$ currently on most sites. Not that $20 is a huge deal to me, but it's just a factor in considering how cheap this option really is overall, for people like me that don't have much interest in streaming other media content. I'm sort of assuming that I might just pay the $50 if I got the device because it would be easier to interface with it, having the remote. But I'm just, as I say, curious.
Lol @ Stadia ... Other than that, the new Chromecast looks pretty nice. If I didn't already have a 4k Chromecast, I would probably get one. I can Steam link fine already to my TV without a Chromecast.

What resolution does Geforce now give you 1080p or 4k
He is likely doing 1080p, I think 4K is only if you pay extra.
Thinking of getting the chrome cast 4K with google tv. Is steamlink still available to use?
hey if you feel like it there seems to be a new android tv box with a newer amlogic processor the s922x, the names are a little messed up but its the a95x max plus. price starts a little high at about 150 but it supports an internal 2.5" hard drive, its a little hexagon tower with usb on the front. with the price point and the fact you can put a hard drive inside it it has more starting storage and takes a microsd card and while i know it wont be as fast as the nvidia shield tube it would be interesting to see.
Pls dont use that s922x , it is bad for games streaming had some issue freezing image when gaming with Geforce Now but other than that with android gaming it runs very well. Big mystery ...
How about Moonlite streaming games for your PC instead of cloud?
In my experience (gigabit down and 35 mbps up) I can load the interfaces but once I launch a game the audio gets chippy and the game freezes. Everytime.
same here
Is there anything like subsonic but for video games so you could setup something like your own personal stadia that you could access and play anywhere not just your house?
How about now, does it hold well in 2024, or there's a better Google TV device to cloud gaming now in 2024?
Steam link never workers for me , it connects but is always blury
Idk why but on my chromecast it doesn't work at all. AMD Link is extremly lagging. Steam Link isn't even usable, crashing every 5 sec. I also made the mistake too invest into the ethernet adapter for the CCWGT. Didn't solve anything. So i guess Game Streaming will stay a dream for me...
Btw, AMD Link and Steam Link work perfectly on my Smartphone, so i really think it comes down to the Chromecast
what controllers are supported on the chromecast? And can you put a video on how you sideloaded stadia on it too?
Basically what I use my shield for. May have to sell it and get 2 Googlecasts
1K like 👍🏾..... imma a winner of.....? 🤣🤣🤣
Can you give us your settings for Steam Link? I have a great internet connection. Both my PC and my Chromecast are hooked up on ethernet as well but for some reason Steam Link is super slow. Any suggestions?
Yeah me too
I would be as giddy as a school girl if Stadia becomes optimised AND Xbox Game Pass as well!
I left you a comment on one of your other videos with a no latency game streaming hoping you'd pick it up. I guess you missed it.
Personally I have a lot of chromecasts. And the only one that has any sort of OS is the Chromecast with Google TV.
Dude you are always record the video with different monitors i can't understand what is your favorite or which one is better !
If you are using stadia you don't have to connect the device with a pc right?
Thanks for making this video. Before i buy i really want to see this it's works or not nvdia g-force now or xbox game pass on google tv.
They don't ship to Portugal :(
Na Worten vendem o ChromeCast 3, não deve demorar muito pra começarem a vender este também
Tens a PcComponentes, ja aparece listado para comprar.
Lol @ Stadia ...
Other than that, the new Chromecast looks pretty nice.
If I didn't already have a 4k Chromecast, I would probably get one.
I can Steam link fine already to my TV without a Chromecast.
Would you recommend this over the 3rd gen Firestick?
