@@owain0r they are definitely slightly longer than the Outroad 1. I have both in a size 10, but would have prefered to size them up. So the 3 is more true to size in my opinion.
I was wondering if you use this shoe on road surface, don't the lugs wear off quickly? Cause the contact surface is small due to the lugs and you do point out the heel lugs are indeed wearing off quite noticably for 70 km.
@@ThomasHuayra I was wondering about the same thing. My guess is, because the lugs are shaped like flat diamonds, which helps distribute the runner's weight more evenly across the surface. This design might mean that no single lug takes the brunt of the impact, potentially reducing the rate of wear compared to more aggressive lugs with sharper edges. 🤷🏻♂️
Picked up a pair. Will be doing a lot of hiking and walking with them. Though I won't be in the mountains, I will be in a foothill area. Will they hold up to about 40 plus hiking miles a week? Or do I go for another shoe, what do you think?
I was running with the loan peaks. Just a good shoe for short trails. Love it.
hi, how is the length compaired to the outroad 1? my outroad 1s were too short. keep up the good work cheers.

@@TDMiller can you compare it also to outroad 2? 🙂
For example, I need a half size bigger outroad 2s in comparison to Torin 4...
Thx!

My outroad 1s have 480km on them a lot of which was road, and the tread is fine surprisingly
How is fit compared to altra fwrd experience? More narrow ?
@@slavasss2189 yeah, slightly more narrow around the midfoot and ball of the foot compared to the FWD Experience
@@TDMiller very strange, as both are standard fit? So annoying sizing
@@slavasss2189 no, the Outroad is actually slim fit

That sounds absolutely fine. 😊👍
Similar to Lone peak? Only a few mm stack diff. More narrow i suppose?
@@andreashjalmarsson9886 they're significantly more narrow and the lugs are less appropriate for technical trails. Other than that pretty similar.
I think i like these more than mont blanc carbon 🤔
Do they squeak like 2s?
@@Parmezanec not that I noticed 😅
