    my girlfriend has a similar rain poncho and she mentioned that the wind tends to get under it easy and often billow out and be blown up over her head.

      Then a heavy end would do the trick

      @@WyrdHag I'm not a native speaker, but I refer to that lower trim on the poncho (the one that blews up) you could put some decorative stone pieces on it (or maybe really small sand baggys) so its heavier in the bottom end.

    Maybe use clips rather than pins so as to avoid putting holes in waterproof fabric?

    • @onlinefabricstore
      @onlinefabricstore  4 года назад +1

      YES! We just recently got clips and they have really changed that game for us

    It looks like the hood needs to be bigger to cover head beyond face, is there a way to modify the hood to make it visor-like?

    I'm trying to make a halloween costume like this but instead of the nylon it's with fleece, will it still go well?

    Is rip stop nylon waterproof? I thought it would need a coating. And maybe the hems will leak.

    Did you the fabric you cut off the bottom of the poncho to make the hood? Because it looks like a new yard of fabric.

    • @onlinefabricstore
      @onlinefabricstore  4 года назад +1

      The hood is cut from another piece of fabric. You'll need about 3 yards total for this poncho.
