Has anyone considered that the Celtics have been repeatedly trying to ship him off in a decent trade because they specifically DONT WANT to pay him 250 or 300 mill for 5 years? That's a lot of money for any player especially if you already have Tatum and he's the face of your franchise. I think it gets overlooked very often that players dont always get traded for talent reasons but because off pure roster costs.

First one, not so bad cuz Irving effects but the last one is on them... AND if they fall short again, how long do you go before you change something? You're not going to get rid of the potential mvp candidate, you're not going to move ur best defensive player, AL is way to old to garnish any value, so it being jb makes alot of sense if the ring chase struggle continues..

for those wondering why theres brown and tatum group? let me explain
imma a neutral celtics for 15 years until recently i hate the new joke fanbase.
brown has been so consistent over the years in fact last 4-5 years. doesn't have alot career high but always gives you consistent points on pretty solid fg%.
    tatum always has career/season high.
brown would outscored tatum on most nights that's why both of them wasn't far in ppg for last few season. (short ver: tatum is inconsistent)
not to mention brown defense especially in playoffs was outstanding.
the media of nba and boston celtics media has done everything and anything they can to promote tatum(same treatment lemelo ball has)
tatum has been given the silver spoon ever since he got into nba, the media, the team. making all the mistake he can make to grow while brown was on the bench trying to earn every minutes.
catch & shoot- slashing. out performed every single task brad steven given him to the point they have no choice but to give brown more minutes and touches on offense.
brown earned every minute on the court.
despite being only a year older than tatum.
brown was consistently bashed by celtics media and especially fake fans.
tatum can be averaging around 4-17 fgs and the media and the fans keep saying "hes only 19, hes only 21, give him a break" double standard
while brown gets "why is brown playing? he should be on the bench, trade him, brown peak is at best 3rd option"
plus kyrie-morris-smart toxic inner team conflict against brown.
that was the lowest we had been since we had tatum and brown.
since toxic kyrie and morris is gone. team got better.
    now hard facts.
tatum has been underperforming in playoffs in elimination games and he gets no blame or any form of accountability until only last year finals.
in ecf 2018, tatum showed up for only 2 games and dunk on lebron.
brown and rozier showed up for 5-6 games however nobody ever mention them and tatum gets all the credit because he dunked on lebron.
had tatum just played a little, just a little better in any games that celtics lost(close game), celtics would have made the finals.
2019 celtics vs bucks playoffs? it's just kyrie-tatum taking turns to bricks. brown showed up and well no credit again.
2020 ecf vs heat . tatum only showed up for 2 games. brown played well for 5 games. again tatum gets all the credit and brown gets none from new celtics fan. we even have heat fans praising brown and asking why brown doesn't get more touch.
2021, brown gets injured out for playoffs. celtics got 1-4 by nets.
2022, brown gets more involve in offense. in playoffs. we revenge the heat, the bucks and the celtics sweeped the nets.
and the famous 2022 finals of tatum performance.
so for us true celtics fan who actually watch the game. tatum underperforming in elimination game and brown performing is nothing new.
so yes, we hate tatum because of all this fake casual celtics fan that recently jumped on the boat that holds the highest double standard i've seen in any fanbase.
this is what divided us. the media and the double standard fake celtics fans.
i sincerely hope brown goes somewhere he can be appreciated.
don't get me started about 2022 all star voting when brown was playing better than tatum before all star game and yet tatum was voted in and brown wasn't.
this shows you how low this celtics fanbase has become.

Hella impressive win from the Cs on us yesterday. As a Bucks fan tho it doesn’t change much for me. Both sides know they’ll get blown out if they don’t show up, and on top of the Bucks playing 5 games in 7 days and shooting 13% from 3 vs the C’s 52% in the first half, this wasn’t as crazy of an outcome as it appears. The bucks have been excellent all season at defending the paint and three, so even though this is embarrassing, a regression to the mean in both our defense and 3pt shooting is due. Really hope we see the Cs in the playoffs, no matter who wins it’ll be a hell of a series.
On a side note though, I’m also worried about the Cavs. D Mitch is a different beast in the playoffs and Jarrett + Mobley in the paint is a pretty good matchup against Giannis. We would need a great Middleton and Lopez scoring series to win.

He literally has to resign with the Celtics in order to get the most. Jaylen’s bird rights are gone the minute he walks out…that is literally the right for any team to over pay their star homegrown player(s).
If Jaylen Brown thinks being the best guy to take the last shot is the best for him…he should look no closer than that what Dallas has been doing. I can imagine dude wanting another star on his team only for them to do worse than prior just like Luka’s mavs.
Mans wants mvp money and all he has to do to EARN it is make all nba…literally 14x more likely to make than an MVP convo…. NBA is insane so what about the guy that’s on MVP level is he suppose to take a pay cut just cause…Bron is the last time you will ever see do that I guarantee you that.

The Pelicans would be a perfect fit, but only if they get out from under the albatross contract of CJ Mcollum. They need a fiery personality, particularly after the damage Mcollum did to the chemistry on the team. It would be a huge swing in the winning makeup of the Pelicans if they can both get rid of a parasite and pick up a someone with the defensive energy Brown brings.
Heck If I was GM I’d willing to trade 5 first round picks and Dyson Daniels on top of Mcollum to get it done. I’m a huge detractor of mortgaging the future for a star, so the above statement says a lot about how much I think Mcollum hurts the team.
Trading Ingram though gives me pause. I haven’t seen enough of Jaylen’s play to know for certain how he would fit. Ingram on the other hand is severely underrated even now. His impact on winning goes way beyond his sub-star ppg avg. His passing and unselfishness is rare for a player of his caliber. His teammates adore him for how humble he is. He is just another guy to them and doesn’t act like a modern star. If he can just stay healthy he will finally get the credit he deserves.
This year was tough on Ingram not just because of the injuries but because Willie Green’s infatuation with CJ Mcollum. He forced Ingram to take a back seat all year until game 70, even though it was failing miserably. The playoffs last year taught Willle nothing. Ingram should have been running the offense from day 1. Instead he was forced to sit around and watch Mcollum dribble and force shots up. At one point, probably even now, Mcollum was shooting close to 6 more shots a game than Ingram. Ingram is an 8-9 assist level guy as the lead guy and he continues to improve there. He just needs a coach who won’t fanboy over a veteran player.
But.. that is if I gram can stay healthy.

What you did not mention is the possibility of a championship - if the Celtics win a championship, that would motivate him greatly to stay. It's more questionable if they only reach the Finals, but don't forget that this team is a top 3 contender in the league.
I hope the voters don't mess this up and vote JB for All-NBA, but regardless, I hope he stays here in Boston.
