To me, listening on headphones, I love the muffler delete system with the factory resonators. Almost the same sound (I'd prefer 107 to 112 anyway) and save $2000! Thanks for the comparison. Excellent work as always.
Quality exhaust versus hatchet job. The Borla exhaust is louder and have a deeper tone. On top of that it will get deeper in a little louder once the packing material breaks in. Borla for the win!
@@NXT_LVL And it's worth it. On top of the performance you get from one of these they also have a 1 million mile warranty due to the fact that they use quality materials instead of the cheap aluminized tubing that a typical muffler shop use that wouldn't last a few years without rusting through.
If you have $$$ to burn sure go with the Borla..If not the muffler delete is so close in sound IMO makes the Borla not worth it.If the rear resonators we're cut off I guarantee the sound would have been almost identical and you would have saved what $1800ish..
The borla definitely gives a polished sound and is much nicer than the delete. I didn't notice any obnoxious notes at all with the borla but of course that's what you pay 2k for.
Had the rear resonators been cut off you can guarantee the sound would have been almost identical and they would have saved $1800+..Don't get me wrong I LOVE Borla I live 10 minuites from Borla but for the $ Value per sound, the muffler deleted wins imo..Had the rear resonators been cut off it would have been a CLEAR win imo..

I think I found the exhaust I want for my 2020 Limited X with the 5.7L. Love that it has the clean sound without all the crackling like you hear on most truck dual exhausts. This is the one.
For anyone wondering I did a mid muffler swap with kooks mufflers and rear delete. Way too loud and raspy. Switched over to a borla atak it sound like a super suv so exotic I love it definitely worth the money
Oh hell No! Yeah this is a no go for me. You can barely hear these SUVs and sounds no different than a stock 2006 Chevy Cobalt, and that's a damn shame 🤔 Owners should have just run open manifolds, which is hands down the best setup and provides optimal back pressure and off-road Cruise Control performance on these Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 6.4L's.
I really like that Borla! On the muffler delete, I would go with the resonator delete too if it is full sound that you want. Both done very well, good job guys!!

A lot of people don't understand the "tuning" of an exhaust system. It's very similar to designing a musical instrument. Imagine if you took a trumpet and cut out sections of the valves and tubing. To someone that doesn't really know what a good trumpet sounds like, they may like the sound, but to a trumpet player, they can tell it sounds awful. Instead, imagine designing a trumpet that has a nice tone and resonance, that makes the player sound even better. That's what a designed system like the Borla can do. It brings out the best aspects of the engine's natural sound.
Check out Titan Motors they have done a lot of work on my Jeeps including cold air intakes, Borka exhausts on my Jeep JK and GC Overland. I’ve never had a issue as long as you only mess with cats back. Some cars have a sensor in the cats and would most likely give u a dash light if u do headers back
Remove, cats, mufflers leave resonators to prevent drone, gain about 10-12 hp and save about 1600.00 for a tune and cold air intake system. I'm not a tree hugger and don't drink bud light.... 😂😅😂

Muffler delete always sound cheap & raspy on the Hemi. You don't have to spend 2k but put some decent mufflers on for a nice toned sound at least.
If your going to go the cost efficient way You have to delete the mufflers and resonators and add an X-pipe for a good mean throaty sound

2k for an exhaust you could build that same exhaust or just do H pipe on muffler delete and it not sound raspy af
