FILM DESCRIPTION:
A dozen adolescents have begun their training at the renowned American Ballet Academy, where they encounter tremendous physical and mental stress while vying for a coveted spot in a celebrated dance company. Jody Sawyer (Amanda Schull) has talent but the wrong proportions, the fiery Eva Rodriguez (Zoe Saldana) can't seem to get along with her instructors and Maureen (Susan May Pratt) is having a hard time enduring the emotional highs and lows that accompany ballet school.

Damn, she is a horrible dancer. 😆 No rhythm at all. I know she was apparently a ballet dancer in real life but whatever she does in that space does not translate at all to this one or to the hip hop dance scene. It’s almost as bad as her acting.
She must be more talented than I thought if a real dancer can make herself look bad at dancing.

They should have left the Salsa dancing out of the movie. I’m sure they both have the ability to be great salsa dancers, but that was not salsa by any stretch of the imagination. You can tell they have zero experience with dancing salsa.
