I'll always remember Susan May Platt as Mandella, Kat's bestie, in "10 Things I hate about You", but she was also brilliant in this movie.

One of my all time favorite dance movies!! My daughter danced for years and this was one of the few movies that told it like the world of dance really is!! Thanks for the update! Hadn't heard anything from some of them!!! Sasha has even been in a Hallmark movie!!! And yes, dancing!! Of course!!

This is one of my favorite dance movies of all time
Of course a reunion would be awesome!!!!! It would also be could be a sequel where Cooper and Jody are successfully running Cooper's company that they started at the end of the very first movie. It would also be neat to see Eva and Charlie now running ABA. Eric O'Jones could be a vice president, or the top instructor in the whole company AND country. He was so sweet in the first movie, he seems like his character could relate to and get along with anyone. With his support and kind demeanour, he could be the best at bringing out his student's full potential. Eva could possibly have an encounter with a headstrong and stubborn student like she used to be. It would be interesting if both companies had some sort of big competition. I think there could be a story there!!! 😃

I remember Amanda Schull in One Tree Hill in two roles on the show.
This is such a random video, but I love the idea of it. This movie was iconic. Not so greatly acted by the professional dancers, but it was overall very fascinating, fun, and awe inspiring
But to answer your question about the reunion, I would like to see one in which some of the characters reflect their real life professions, like Charlie's actor being the new director of the ballet academy this movie is based off. I'm not sure how somebody actors would pull off some of the dance moves, given the average career span of a ballet dancer, but it'd still be fun
I think I was wayyy too young when I first came across this movie, lol. It was also the first time I heard The Way You Make Me Feel.

I know ilia was/is a figure skater who's married to Ekaterina goordeeva, who's also a well known figure skater.

Seems like Schull was the only member of the cast to work consistently in both Ballet and Acting!!

I love this movie. I did not do the connection Eion Bailey, aka Pinnochio/August was in this movie. I mean i was into ballet watching this movie before Once Upon A Time cam out.

The only one I can say I remember in any TV show or movie that is actually good and watchable (95% of Hollyweird movies and TV series are totally unwatchable if you have an IQ over 65 points) is Bailey for his role as Webster in Band of Brothers.

Who would've thought back in 2000 the biggest star coming from this movie will be Zoe Saldana... Don't get me wrong, she was great but still. Amanda had a lead and her acting career is nowhere near Zoe's
The real truth is the movies Zoe are in are what’s big. Zoe outside of franchise movies is not a big star at all.
I would say Amanda had an amazing career, she was a dancer not an actor.
@@sistersister8830this 👆. Plus her acting career hasn’t been too bad either. Stint on Pretty little liars and on One Tree Hill, lead female in the tv series 12 monkeys, recurring role on the extremely popular show Suits. She ended up being upped to a series regular. Lots of Hallmark movies as well.
