I also wear braces and the most pain I feel is in the 2nd day of braces.its awful but a cool part is that day my teeth noticably moves so I take progress pictures on my 2nd day.but there will still slight soreness for 3-4days depending on your teeth.i eat whatever I want that time just much slower and carefully

Although I don't know what orange chicken is I just want to tell you that you can eat everything as long as you are careful and clean your braces with toothpicks after meals that left food particles in your braces and as long as you keep this in mind you can enjoy everything trust me I'm just eating chips with braces 😂
I eat lays and doritos and I have no problems I have had braces for over a year those chips don't really do anything too me I do eat boneless and I don't eat corn so just the chips
I missed eating chips when I had braces. It was a pain to not enjoy Pringles and Doritos. However, I figured a way to still eat Cheetos by sucking on them to make them soft enough that way they wouldn't be crunchy.
I ate Doritos with no problem I was also able to eat hot fries idk if I just got lucky and didn’t break a bracket but i ate Doritos twice and no bracket’s were loose or broken

I’m not a professional but Fruits that you bite into with your front teeth like apples and pears I think that things like grapes and definitely bananas are a good option maybe grapes are bad idk
I eat Doritos and I’ve had no problem. Most orthodontists are just a tad over dramatic. Just avoid apples, anything sticky, corn. And your basically fine.
@@Layla_12361 nah man not u acting like you know more then this guy who has went to college. yes chips aren’t good to eat in braces because there is a chance it could break, keyword COULD. i knew a kid who ate chips all the time and broke his brackets he finally just smooshed them into tiny pieces and ate them. yes they probably don’t have as big as a chance of breaking as do apples but there’s still a chance. and the fact you are acting like he’s wrong when he does this everyday- if they don’t break when you eat them then good for you but that doesn’t mean it won’t break for everyone else.

For Doritos, You can by a technicality eat them, but you just really need to be careful, don't scoff them down.
For the chips try eating thins chips as they're way more think and brittle than corn chips.
for crisps and stuff you can eat them but I advice not to for the first few days it will hurt so bad
