braces on is only a dream on the first day after that it's just a nightmare that we want to get rid of soon.
In my first 5 days after installation I litterally hate it and get irritated so much, but after that it feels just like u dont have braces on, It will be painful again after adjustment only for day
@@zenitsu.7876 After a while we really forget that we are using it because often we don't even feel that it's in the mouth anymore , because we are used to it ,but seeing it in my mouth most of the time it bothers me because of the appearance that doesn't seem to make me very pretty but i believe it's worth it for sure ;)

When you get them it hurts like bitch for first week or two. After that it gets normal. Then whenever they tighten it, it hurts for a day then it's normal.

I imagine taking high dose of pain reliever (Tylenol or Motrin) in advance of the procedure and following weeks will help when first installed? 😬
I guess it's different for different people, but for the first 2 weeks I could only eat liquid food, it was impossible to chew anything harder than mash potatoes. Every time they would be tightened the pain would be bad for a couple of days. It helped a lot, even though my lower teeth moved back after my wisdom teeth grew. I still have a very straight top and a nice smile.
When i first got my braces it felt like I couldnt close my mouth and after a few days of soreness, i got really accustomed to them. My orthodontist is really nice and thorough and asks if anything is poking me. If you're planning to get braces soon, itd be a good idea to take ibuprofen or some pain medication an hour before getting them. Im almost a year into mine and I love them. I get to smile as much as I want. 😁

I’ve had braces for 3 months but first 4 days were a nightmare😩! I could not eat anything not even ice cream, my teeth hurt so bad the wire was giving me sores, and I was crying 24/7 but I’m so glad that pain is over it was bad bc my teeth were soooo crooked

@@Gacha_Lorelai they aren't that bad, I mean the first 5 days they are probably gonna hurt and you will prob notice some teeth move, even the first month IS hella uncomfortable. But then you won't notice the braces anymore (except when they adjust them but then pain will only last a couple of hours). Don't be scared It is super worth it

braces pain depends on the person. I actually experienced a small amount of pain. They only hurt when they used power chains to tighten them. Braces only felt uncomfortable. I am so grateful I had braces a few years ago. I am much more confident about my smile and my teeth. They are not a nightmare at all even if they hurt. They are a blessing and a privilege. Braces arent cheap.

I use braces, but I always thought it hurt a lot when I put it on and that's why I was scared, but the day I went to put it on, the dentist was super nice to me and put it on, it didn't hurt at all, but after he started to clench my teeth and after months, he hurt my lips, opened the lower lips now I'm taking care of the wounds and doing the maintenance, it hurts but it's worth it and the result is amazing :)
These memories have been magically erased from my head.

Looks like the patient is a really good one and kept their tongue back. When I was getting mine done they had to give me a tongue blocker and they like shoved it and in one of the people who have to like constantly swallow so I wasn’t very cooperative 😅

in the first 2 hours you don't feel anything but after it starts to hurt.eat soups because you can't even close your mouth bc of the pain.For me it took about a whole week for the pain to go away.It will hurt so use Tylenol or ibuprofen

That's how my lower front tooth on the left is feeling. I was told it was because my braces is making my tooth move and that it'll go away in a week, it's been almost a month and it still hurts 🙃

What's the different between putting the elastic ligatures in an 8 shape and the other puts it in a square form, just around the bracket
The 8 shapes are stronger than the square dhapes i think
i broke a bracket on the 4th day.. just by brushing my teeth. now i gotta wait a week to get the bracket fixed

Be glad you don't end up with receded gums like I did with braces...Gum surgery is much more painful than getting braces.

Guys you can have braces it is not that painfull , it only pains for a week and after that you wont even feel that you have braces , yet you can have some difficulties eating some food items

I do not like braces because when I got mine, my dentist put these things in the corner and they didn’t let me eat peacefully, so i have slowly grew a fear in eating.
i just got my braces put on in june and the first day was weird cause of the new feeling. but the first 2 weeks i had to eat very soft foods, even mashed potatoes hurt but eventually it gets better. after every time they tighten them it the day after expect soreness and high sensitivity. and make sure to brush your teeth in the morning night and you should be good. floss too i’m just lazy lmao

Honestly my braces were put on different the first time but then again i had an expander and something on my bottom row that was metal and went around my bottom teeth

I’ve had smile direct in the past but it didn’t fully straighten my teeth like I wanted so I’ll be getting traditional braces so and I’m not worried because the clear braces hurt the 1st day or 2 and then the pain subsided…the pain is like a 4 out of 10 for me

Getting braces isn’t a nightmare. I have them and they don’t bother me at all and only hurt a little when you first get them. If you’re expecting to get braces I recommend taking advil and using wax. Getting braces isn’t a big deal. They’re nothing compared to other things that can get done on your teeth.

I was initially reluctant to have my braces, but I eventually had to because the gap of my lower teeth kept getting bigger; the upper portion kept pushing my two big center teeth forward.
At first, I was uncomfortable and couldn't eat much. But as time went by, I got used to wearing braces.
My orthodontist may decide if they're to be removed this year. 😁

I just got braces like 3-4 months ago and now i feel like i can bite and chew but sometimes i just don't even chew the food😢
