The Sickest Poker Play Of All Time

- There has never been a poker hand like this before. In a high stakes cash game, with more than $330,000 in the pot, Bill Perkins declares that he has a plane to catch. His opponent, Hustler Casino Live regular Handz, is faced with a difficult decision. He's up against an absent player that is all-in. Bill is watching the action from the airport! What should he do?

Dude realized that whatever you do on the poker table conveys an information so he just left the country
😆
Turns out you convey information even when you aren’t there
You can't be all loosey goosey eating a sandwich. It conveys information
huge fail on yrhying to be funny
Different city not even different state
I watched this live, and it was cool to be part of it with Bill in the chat. History 👍👊🇺🇸🤘
Yea one of my favorite moments in a long time
Bill watching in Chat not knowing what happened is hilarious 😂 dude is a legend
Him watching it on stream was truly legendary. What a Chad. He's improved so much lately at poker too.
@@andylymbo no he didn't. He's terrible. This play was terrible. Don't be results orientated
@@TrustMeIKnowEverything I didn't say he played well this hand lmfao.. results oriented 😂😂 bro I'm speaking overall and I've played for over 15 years no results oriented thinking here.
@@andylymbo bill perkins is terrible bro. No one cares that you have played for 15 years. That doesn't make you a good player. Lots of awful fish have played for 50 years bro.
He literally torched Landon tice in a HU match, I’d side bet 100k he’d probably put you to sleep HU to
This really is one of the best hands ever. Doug flipping over the Jh at the end and losing it, my god 🤣
Bill pulled the ultimate, "I'm a billionaire playing with marginally, maybe millionaires" move. You have to call that shit, that's why you want to play with Bill Perkins in the first place! 😂
This is true. Again easy for us to say, but like you said, this is why you want to play with dude
His money was given to him to play the character that he is
Just imagine how awesome of a move this is if you're trying to transfer money and avoid taxes though..
You get to
1) transfer the money tax free
2) not just tax free, but actually saving on taxes because you get to declare it as a loss..
3) play a "famous hand" that promotes you and the lodge lol
Not saying that's what he's doing, but.. no wonder the IRS and left wing blue states like California hate poker and bam online play.
Everyone here is a millionaire easily btw, but that's like saying "he's a millionaire playing against thousandaire's" =p
@@jonslg240 not true. You are clueless
Poor Handz..always gets into these legendary situations
Yeah, and the wrong side of them. He seems like a really good player, but he sure isn't having an easy time...
Is he actually a winning pro? He seems to constantly put himself in complicated spots for big money. If he's not going to bet/snap that river he has to check. Perkins obviously is playing this hand funny and the 6 is awful for his 3bet range.
I mean how do you lead into this without knowing already what you're going to do vs shove? What hands are you trying to get value from exactly?
He's always it tuff decisions like this and the Rampage bluff for 1.1M. He seems like a really good player
I watched this live. We all experienced an epic moment. Bill even hopped in the live chat with us on the way to the airport lmao
Well no, there’s a delay, so he definitely knew he won prior to watching on the stream
@@triton556 you literally hear the commentators say "bill is in the chat right now" so that makes no sense. There isnt enough of a delay for bill to have known that he won. Plus he wasnt even there so how would he have known unless someone like texted him immediately xD
Please take some hands from Doyle Brunson in your next poker hand analysis. His play with AA vs Jamie Golds KJ was absolutely brilliant. Or his AT vs Guy Lalibertes A5 would be very interesting to review.
Lol Great hand! Loved this one. Thank you. Go Bill!
Wild ass hand for sure! Great video Doug thanks for sharing.👍🏼😱
That’s hilarious. Imagine watching this from the inner circle
15:10 I miss laughing this hard. Doug sounds like he is going to pass out from laughter. This hand was epic.
The slow rolling comment. Class.
I've enjoyed watching Bill since I first seen him on TV. Very funny guy and would like to play cards with him one day.
One of the best hands I’ve ever seen. Should win hand of the year!! We will not forget this one.
9:46 👈🏼😂 The moment that I tried to get a read from the player and I couldn’t !!
11.50 " i thought he was slow rolling" ahaahhahah
I just can't stop looping it eheheh
Everyone played their part so well in this. You get such a good crowd at the lodge and its great to see hands like this go down.
I would’ve called even before he left the room. Cmon 10-10!
"Hard to get a read on that guy huh?" legend
Why is Bills hand not dead when he leaves the room, let alone the casino? If he’s not there to table his hand when called, it’s one player per hand, no one else, even the dealer, can table it. Should be a Freeroll to call.
2:30 would you say that is poor etiquette when some fish tries to influence play by shouting out "Bills got a plane to catch"!!!!
If he legitimately has a plane to catch, then no. It's a statement of fact.
Easily one of top 10 worst folds I’ve ever seen lol idk how Handz talked himself into a fold there, against Perkins of all people
Doug, I watched this live, then spoke with Bill in the live stream chat. Totally entertaining :)
Easily one of the top hands ever played at the lodge! Bill is just cool as the other side of the pillow. Just started reading his book. Excellent advice there.
This hand will go down as a classic
Doug's incredibly unprofessional by saying "Bill has a plane too catch" after he raises 40k. Your literally indirectly involving yourself in the hand and trolling his image. Super bad etiquette man.
He's done that sort of thing quite a bit and I thought the same thing
epic.....sure gained a lot of respect for bill perkins over the years
Now THAT'S f**king entertainment, handz down!
I remember watching this hand live. I wonder if this play would stand at a casino? You would think that if you leave you forfeit the pot. But idk I guess it depends on the game and how cool the floor is.
@06:38 you shouldn't be talking if you're not in the hand. I understand it has a loose home game environment but still not cool.
This is more than just a game. They are entertainers in that situation. Sitting in silence makes no sense when such a bizarre scenario unfolds.
The conversation during the hand was very out of pocket. Let the man make his decision. Definitely could have effected him.
@Dex doesnt matter. handz is a good player vs a decent midstakes or better player where he can apply gto. but he doesnt know how to play against fish like perkins, airball, keating etc. pp
@@grimreaper1366 Imagine thinking Perkins is a fish in 2023
i would hate to play in your games if this is a situation where you would NOT be absolutely baffled and laughing. i mean, even handz was amused. you guys really need to relax a bit.
I dont think the table talk was that out of line, but Doug saying this was one of the biggest streaming moments probably subconsciously contributed to his fold.
he seemed to be totally fine with it, if not, he's a grown man who can just ask them to be quiet so he can think. you're allowed to talk during a hand and you're allowed to ask people to quiet down when you're in a hand.
To get a bluff through whilst travelling in a private car to a private airport to fly on a private jet is absolute BOSS!
Private car. That’s funny 😁
The inner circle jokes are still funny AF
The fact that he ended up WINNING the hand makes it so much more hilarious.
What an absolute legend! 😂
I’m in tears. Lmao. Funniest hand I’ve ever seen.
bro just dipped and joined chat🤣🤣this dude lmao
Simply a bad fold given the player you are up against, your hand strength and the situation. You make the small bet on river to induce something crazy, crazy happens and you fold getting a good price. Perkins is way more likely than the average player to make these kinds of crazy bluffs. It´s ONLY a 6 that he loses to because of the check on turn. He never has an overpair, full house or straight. I would also argue given the stacksizes Bill mostly calls with any random 6 in his hand on the flop.
Such a weird experience as a viewer to see a guy thinking without his opponent sitting across from him lol
The Berkey clip gets me every single time. 😂
Wow, what a suspenseful hand!
That was sick.
“So suspenseful” said perkins from the chat 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well, that's one way to make sure your opponent can't get a read lol
Next one will be Mr Beast doing a 1 mil bluff and catching a flight to Moon.
Whenever The Lodge introduces a 50k chip I hope it's one of those rectangular European style plaques, those are so dope.
Not really sure how I feel about this. It's good for viewing. But I don't think it's good for the game. Part of poker is having to sit there after shipping it in with K high and letting your opponent look you over for tells etc. Bill just getting up and leaving put Handz in a much harder spot that had nothing to do with the game.
Doug your a fast thinker my friend, Went from jaw on the ground when bill said he was leaving to ""yea illl take care of it"'"
Here is a house. I gotta go. Whatever is said or done. Epic play
That's the sickest bluff I've ever seen in my life , well done bill
Flippen awesome move. All-In then All-out the door. Winning en route to the airport.
I never wanted anyone to call more than this moment.
Any updates on coinflex?
I love how Berkey gave Doug the best sound bites in history. It'd be so next level if Doug invited him to the Twitter Space because he knew Berkey would volunteer some of the best audio clips to use over and over for years. It'll never get old.
No one fucking likes you man! No One wants you there! You're on the Outs!
I laugh everytime I hear it.
That really was the most valuable thing in that 4-hour conversation tbh. Priceless.
So great lmao
Amazing.
$1k discount being offered purely in red is my favorite part of a hand with so much to love. Live poker is the best! 😂 ❤
when that picture of "spirit" came up i *knew* he was gonna mention the "in-group" thing
Phil Perkins is the man!
Ok that's the most epic shit I've seen in a long time
Make a video about Bin Weng reading you like a book and knocking you out of the tourney with your jack/9
It was a stunt, 100%. You have to call that sh-t down.
Well it feels a lot like 76 to me.
Mini re-raise, quick check turn, all in river
@@erikk17 lol that’s a call 100% of the time. Very unlikely a person calls a 3-bet pre-flop with 76. It’s obvious Perkins was hoping his opponent had AK or something similar. If my opponent gets extremely lucky on his very last hand and cracks my 1010 with 76, more power to him, but it’s a call 100%. If it’s Perkins making the play I call before his chips even touch the table 😂
imagine if hes slowrolling lol ah man Dougs laugh kills me
This might be a definite call, no flush no straight, call and pray 🙏
Are the chips extra large?
Bill shouldve called the clock from his phone
What a RUclips ad… we talking cash back by Kevin Hart.
I would have called floor as it takes Handz right to live read his opponent
That’s stupid,so you call floor on guys that wear hoodies and sunglasses ?? Clown
Honestly I like all your videos even this 1 and great advice , jokes you say (Amazing content),etc.I like the rules how a player can not leave the table and must finish the hand.If someone is allowed to do this for whatever reason is not good for poker. I am not in the hand and not on that level as is a lot of $ From a funny aspect ya seems funny I guess ( more random bs my opinion)on a poker rules aspect no way.
Amazing 😂
Seems kind of out of line to leave the table lmao
“Everyday it’s a fresh set of hands or is it Handz?”
Elvis... wait no Bill Perkins has left the building
9:15 made my day, ty
You pull that where I work, your hand is dead.
“So suspenseful!”
Perkins is so fucking hilarious 😂
There actually was a hand like this in a tournament when it was heads up, or maybe 3 players. It was reported on in Card Player years ago. One player pushed all in and then ran to the bathroom, and there was speculation that it was because he didn't want his opponent to get a read on him. If I recall correctly he had KK.
Baap bup bup baap baaaaaa Billy legend
I feel Handz just always ends up in the sickest spots 😂
Where did the saying "betski" come from? I often hear this part "ski" in relation to poker.
A lot of American slang uses "ski" brewski = beer, broski = bro/friend. It might be loosely related to the Cold War. We even have Rooski = Russian.
It's not a poker thing.
Bill is so good for Poker
Xuan is so gorgeous! This 4 minute tank was actually enjoyable watching her smile.
I love Bill Perkins: he always makes me laugh whenever he's at the table But then I guess it's easy to be the loose canon when you have unlimited ammo. Doug looking ripped, if I may say so, but then he must have so much time on his hands....what with not being part of the inner circle. Stay naughty, Douglas.
Cant believe u let that shit go down Doug
Echoes of Scotty Nguyen, "Where he go?"
Those chips look so big haha but they’re aesthetically o
Part of me feels like you should have to be present at the table to win a pot, but it's obviously about the actual rules in place and it's Doug's card room. Was also pretty hilarious.
How do play against the invisible man
i think its really bad ppl talkin durin this hand bills gone but still players not in the hand should shut up and let him make his decision (he was about to call when doug couldnt help but open his big mouth again)
Hans had to reraise the river bet since Bill left ,,,he can’t call since he not there ,,,and wins pot by default ,,,Doug can’t. Even call cause Hans filipped over his hand at everyone request …
All in fool
If I didn’t play “ my last hand” or chips I’ve racked before I go. I’d be a multi millionaire
Multi *thousandaire
Doug, you did several things in the game to influence Hands to fold such as saying you'll show the hand after play is completed. That isn't really kosher. That's no more vote for honesty and respectability than saying "Congress passed it" when we already have plenty of evidence they are bought and paid for.
It's been broadcast on a stream.. 🙄
@@23reech Many things have been broadcast on streams that aren't exactly kosher.
@@jimmarshall5453 I was talking about showing the cards not being 'kosher'. If the game was not streamed ofc they would never have flipped Perkins cards if Hands folded.
Yes things got rowdy, because it's such a crazy scenario. Hands was laughing along with them and is perfectly capable of asking for some quiet so he can think through the hand, which would have been respected.
But let's just put it down to "meeeeeh, the poker stream rigged it for viewz".
Boooom!
I have only one question. How did they manage to drag Bill into this game? lol
0:36 👈🏼🤔 What is this dude saying??
We need a Director's Cut, so we can see more reaction shots.
Yes sir
That was fckn outstanding 😂😂🙁
Dude's literally just playing poker by himself all tilted out his mind on one decision lol. Can't believe he folded wow.
Pretty gawd damn epic. Haha
