Thanks for taking a closer look smaller phones. I feel like big phones are oversensationalized and I really wish we could have flagship small phones. I want something tiny and amazing. Even the pixel 4 is still a big phone to me, and it's sad it's one of the smallest options left.

The monstrous Nokia Lumia 1520 had a 6'' screen, and it is still double the size of this Pixel
You don't take consideration that this phone has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. That makes it small. It's even narrower than my 5.7" 18:9 phone.
I don’t get it. I still have my old iPhone 5S laying around, and *that* is a small phone. The Pixel 5 is a perfectly average size.
@@kurtblackwell7752 because one, the screen to body ratio is different and two, most phones past few years have been getting bigger. The large one plus phones, google pixel 4 XL, the Notes, the Galaxy’s etc. Even iPhone. And this year IPhone not only released a mini phone but also the other sizes have shrunk because bezels are smaller and they can put the same screen in a smaller body. So 6 inches isn’t really a small phone but compared to last few years, it is.

For the longest time I was gung hoe, hard core, apple. I always had to have an iPhone. But it was starting to get expensive and I finally decided to try something els. I had a strict rule that I didn’t want to replace it with a Samsung. To me a more comparable company was google. So I took the plunge and got a pixel 3a. And I gotta tell ya, I was sold, and loved it a whole lot more than the iPhone. There was just so much about it that I liked, and thought was better. I thought at first that I would regret my decision. I was very wrong. So I am pretty much converted. And when I told my sister last week that I will be getting a pixel 5 next year, she looked at me like, really. She’s still hardcore apple, and she will probably never get anything else because she needs to have that status symbol. And it sucks that she’s missing out. The bottom line is that you could get a cheaper phone that is so much better in my opinion, and I can’t wait till I get my pixel 5.
Don't let your warranty run out. I love Pixel phones but was hit with the camera breaking bug out of nowhere. Camera never worked again. Will still get the 5 but terrified it'll happen again.

I bought the pixel 4a. Checked for later case, it would have been something like 50€ and excluding any import taxes. So nah, I am using an 8€ transparent case. Looks good.

i love the google pixels the same reason I love iPhones, the software was made specifically for those phones
I actually considered apple this time around and I hate them with a passion, but one thing that I do appreciate is how long they continue support for their devices... Google needs to catch up... I am on the fence about upgrading my P2XL.. Only thing I really care about at this point are updates and security.. But that is coming to an end in December.. :/

For me, for example, what I care the most (by a large margin) in a smartphone is the camera. So, if I was to buy a smartphone right now, it'd be the Pixel 4a.
I'd like to see other companies do the same: cutting on non-necessary things (like thaving the most powerful processor) to have a lower price phone with an excelent camra

Update: Pixel 5 is everything I need/want in a phone. Smooth scrolling, beautiful display, fast. Not complaining about sound, since I mostly use earbuds, but... room for improvement 😊

I'm due for an upgrade and I'm probably gonna go with a new Pixel 5 from my Pixel 2 XL. And I am tempted to get a LaterCase for it, but with how thin it is, and how thick my current Otterbox is, I'm probably just gonna stick with the Otterbox bc I've gotten so used to how thick it is. Plus a phone case thats meant to protect, should not be easy to take off at all like how you're marketing your cases, thats how the cases come off and break the phone when dropped onto that soft spot on the corner of the screen

I have bought one of those cases for my iPhone 7, it was nice in the beginning but when u are using ur phone or charging phone, the phone gets hot and it makes the case becomes little wider(bigger). After a while the case make some kind of scratch on ur phone because it’s bigger than ur phone and can moves little bit when u are using phone ...

Didn't appreciate this phone when it first came out due to the lacking specs but gotta say it's really growing on me. Google knew exactly what type of battle they had to fight
Using it after using 11 pro. Noticing no difference to be honest. 90hz gives you more speed than a spec bump. I don't game or anything though.

When testing taking photos you should take low light level photography. Because most phones today take great shots in well lit shots.

There is no need for a bigger battery on a six inch 1080p screen, it's pretty much guaranteed to have better battery life than 4500 mAh phones with 120 Hz.

Watching on my pixel 5 🤌🏾 it's just what I need and does what I need it to do smoothly and the battery coming from an S10 is heavenly.
I'm a Pixel 3 XL user since it was released, mainly because of the extra features in combo with Google Fi. Now I can finally upgrade it to Pixel 5 and keep my Google Fi smart carrier switcher.
It's more like a side step than an upgrade...only upgrade is no notch
With how good screen-to-body ratios have gotten, large phones seem less useful to me.

The phone boots up in the time it takes to unbox the rest of the package. Amazing.
I wish the Latercase had a little coverage for the screen then i would be 1000% sold.
That Latercase looks so good though. If I put a glass screen protector on it I think I would be set.
The problem with that is that most screen protectors don’t go as far to the edge and my friend drop their phone right on the edge with a thin case and that’s exactly where cracked

@@jamesp5923 I feel that it only needs like 1/32nd of an inch just the tiniest lip that would also hug the phone snugger but I know the tooling for the cases may be slightly more expensive but you know we can always hope for a limited edition!

That sage color is awesome.
The sharp and highly detailed photos is what make Pixel such an astounding camera phone. It is nearly impossible to take a bad photo with them, and you don't come out overly saturated like iphone or smooth like samsung.
