- This video demonstrates how to properly prepare a fiberglass surface and apply Wipe New to the gel coat on a 26' fishing boat. Wipe New will reduce the porosity of the gel coat, restore the original shine and seal the finish; protecting the surface from harmful UV rays and water stains, and making cleaning and upkeep easier.
Is there a recommended substitute for the Zep BIG Z that is mentioned (other Zep products)? Can't find the product - it seems like this is a vital step in your process. Thanks!
How long does this coating last?
i feel like the info at the beginning was wrong antifouling paint is to prevent marine growth

I have a brand new pontoon boat. Do you know if this is safe for the powder coated aluminum rail and or the skin of the boat?
How often do you need to reapply to keep the boat looking like that?
Man uam confused do you use big z on hull or corex on hull ????
Is Big-Z possibly a predecessor for ZEP PROFESSIONAL R08024 Truck and Trailor? Nobody seems to sell Big-Z. Hoping to stick to your program to get a good result.
Please update comments to include Big Z replacement.
Is that product a floor finish?
Good on a motor home ?
WHICH WIPE NEW PRODUCT IS THIS? THE PROFESSIONAL FLEET?
+Wipe New ASOTV Page Where do you buy that Zepcorex, Ive searched everywhere
I found the ZEP truck and trailer wash on ebay for $16 a gallon
Me too... does it work well for you? Tried it for the first time yesterday with disappointing results. Could have been the stain I was working on... need more testing. Reading docs of both, it's not the same as Big Z.
@@bobroberts3750 Anyone know where to find wipe new in large quantities? I can only find single use wipes
Can big z be used on vinyl and teak as well?
Would corex affect the bottom paint?
I asked a zep representative about big z for boats and he said is not recommended, any thoughts please.
snow bowl toilet cleaner works well
Wow
Can wipe-new be used on a car's duco?
Below Wipe New says that the product does not have silicone in it but when you read the federal ingredient declaration for the product it says that it does have silicone... if so then someone using this product has ruined the finish (for any number of reasons) and someone recommending the use should be liable... also the federal ingredient declaration says that you "mystery" ingredient is Acetone so of course it will dissolve the oxidized surface of the gel coat... apparently anyway... smells like a scam to me... stick to plastic car bumpers and mirrors...
Provide a link please, thanks.
