@@MSFSFlightPlans I watched it again. The airfield you took off from was active when I was a kid and The Hammonasset School was on the north side of Post Rd. and offered flying lessons there. (I almost went there) When you turned north into the Connecticut River you went right over Kate Hapburn's old house in Fenwick. The museum in Essex is pretty cool as it has the Bushnell Turtle mockup in it. I took my first flying lesson at the Chester Airport! I was just up in Hartford last month for a family gathering in Storrs so I got to see the start of the fall colors. Thanks again for the trip on Memory Air and I highly recommend Memory Air for all those wanting to wander down that taxiway! -Mike
As someone who lives up in northwest ct (Litchfield), but has boats in Chester, old Lyme, and lake Hayward east haddam, this is very interesting and well done. Kudos man!
Greyhounds id guess are good businesses these days, i know people use them for hunting but these days grey hound racing is quite popular ive even seen it live on sports channels a few times and there are lots if greyhound racing tracks about.
We'll see, man. I just watched a 2024 flight around Milford Sound in NZ that looked horrendous. I'm not sure it was WORSE than 2020, but it certainly wasn't great. I'm holding out hope that Asobo is sandbagging us a bit and has some final injections that will improve a lot of the (very) rough terrain I've seen so far in a lot of the alpha flights.
Great presentation.... Very picturesque....I've learnt a lot.... Thank you... Roger... Pembrokeshire UK
well done m friend!
Thanks Nick for all the wonderful memories of my years living in this area of CT. Miss CT a great deal!
Me too, especially this time of year.
Are the amount of autum colors realistic? In Vancouver, BC, Canada the sim 24 shows way more then is natural autum color
An Old Saybrook guy here and thanks for the tour back to my old haunts. -Mike
