2 minutes of these two guys together and its laughs all the way. Two really genuinely great people. Keep at it fellahs. That 'B' really does just need detail work. If it was me now she is running I would get all the fittings out of the engine bay and give it a really thorough clean, degrease the engine and just fit parts back cleaned and painted black. No cost, just time and it will add $ to the value. And those knock on wire wheels ...... Oh Yessss
Absolute Gold Mike! Always love when you and Randy get together. And hearing you laugh as he going crazy had me laughing too. Add the look on his face when you pointed out where the battery really is----LMAO!!!! Can't wait to see the Midget and the MGB together. Great upload.
Good to see you and Randy together again. I always enjoy the banter between you two. Perhaps your visit did Randy good as he has seemed a bit stressed lately. Hope he doesn’t pick up smoking again.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE LKQ! The BEST part is you know how much each part will be before you get to the counter! Some of my local U-Pull charge how they feel the day you go! Refreshing also Mike you are a professional man LOVES to get dirty & visit junk yards! I am the same being a university administrator/professor who loves to work on my cars (and get greasy)!
@@MonkeyWrenchMike Junk yards provide.me FREE therapy UNTIL I buy my parts! It is also awesome in letting me learn how to remove parts on the junk car and not learn on my cars!!!!!!!
Randy looking for the battery in the trunk. Mike points behind the seat and says battery is right there. Randy face 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. You two need to do a channel on travels to go get cars lol love watching you two together lol
Exploring Randy's junk in the trunk...🤔 You need to convince Randy to NOT get rid of the MGB! Then you guys can go cruising together in your MGs together. That would make great content! 👍🇺🇸
MGB will cruise all day long with the stock Stromburg no problem , could do an earlier model Dual SU carb set up works very nicely also,Weber set up is not cheap.
Man really cool score for Randy I love the wire wheels too. But its quite literally a Rat Rod for now. LOL The midget is probably actually even more rare and its certainly in better shape. I hope your channel grows by leaps and bounds. So you dont have to go live down by river in a van LOL. No I love your channel I will buy a shirt later after I get done paying for all the car parts I bought hundreds of dollars worth for a couple of my drivers. Four tires, 2 for each car and they both need all four so that is coming soon. I just bought a rack and pinon for my Ford ranger edge and had to have it installed too hard for me to get the steering wheel straight and plus i cannot align it. I bought all new outer tie rods but then they didnt even install them. It still has the high speed death wobble after the new rack install and alignment although it is a lot better all I can figure it needs new tires. Yeah the old ones been balanced. The VW EOS is still up on jacks at the moment because Im really not well enough or have enough time to fix it. I put new control arm on it and the spring is still out although i got the control arm on it but I have to push out a bushing and I have tool I rented for that but its all too big for the little VW so I may have to figure out how to ab lib and use socket to push it out with the tools press. I have made a mess Im getting too old to work on cars I think. Actually to out of shape. I get down and cannot barely get up again. I am good at buying parts but not so good at getting them installed. I am getting too old and fat.
Greetings from OKC. I had a Midget in high school in the late '70s. Can't tell you how many times I had it in auto shop working on something. It was a blast to drive. Friends had a Midgets or Bs
@@MonkeyWrenchMike I've been wrenching on cars for over 50 years. Started with helping my Dad as tool fetcher working on one of the family cars that always needed something. Seems like I'm spending more time watching RUclipss than wanting to work on cars lately...lol Keep up the good work and maybe we can meetup someday and share stories.
Love seeing you guys together. The irony, these Brit vehicles could literally be stolen with a toothpick, and were stolen all over the UK trust me! But it takes multiple burns and a De Walt 18v to crack it. Being British I suspect the ‘trunk’ (boot in the UK 🇬🇧) was Kevlar lined to store the alcohol 😆
Mike I just found some that you and Randy both can use asap I want to help you guys with your mgb I found the entire parts catalog for your class mg and mgb cars going back all the way to 1932 😇and yes you car on here and randy car as well I have all the carpets and top and where to go to buy them :)
Hi mike i loved your video i lived in Tulsa for 4 years loved it and its people....studyed in Spartan college for aeronautics ......AHMED FROM BAGHDAD IRAQ
An MGB in good condition with that 1800cc engine should be capable of exceeding 100mph - back in the day, a friend of mine regularly did that in his MGB GT. It wasn't a pleasant experience, though. I owned a 1275cc Midget and took it up to 80mph on occasion - I was younger and braver then but I still remember it being a bit nerve wracking.
I have been waiting for you to tell Randy that the battery is not in the boot. I kept screaming at the screen, but that did no good. I yelled at my keyboard, but he did not pay any attention
Mike, you should have bought the good wheels from that junk car. If they were in really good condition, you have the room to store them and you will probably need them in the near future. If you don't need them you can trade them to other Mercedes owners for what you do need to keep costs down on your projects.
I always like seeing you and Randy work together you guys are funny and make my day full of laughs keep up the great videos and great content everyone hit the like comment share and subscribe button and turn on your bell notifications

Monkey wrench road trip,!!! Always a fun time when Mike and Randy get together.
The two legends back together
I agree
I like when RUclipsrs initially fail but eventually win through knowledge and persistence. Give me motivation to wrench on my projects.
Good times had by all, I can’t believe that Randy has lucked again, and obtained another great car.👍❤️🚘💜

The color of the MGB appears to be "Bronze Yellow" Paint code if you find the ID plate is BLVC15 ad for aftermarket, RM # 6649

Getting that trunk open for a car guy is equivalent to child birth

More great TV. Can't beat it. Should be picked up by one of the cable networks.
Best compliment ever!!
You finally show the true Randy. Hey how come you didn’t show Randy how to work on the carburetor , he hook the gas line wrong.
