my parents have friends that is temporarily live in a shipping container house because their primary house burnt down, and its really beautiful. Its like out in the woods and they decorated it themselves.

Some of the container homes I have seen really are beautiful, sure they're not everyone's style but I think being innovative is something that should be appreciated. The creativity some people have to save money and recycle is cool.

Yeah, I don't know why Ethan was so irritated with the idea. It seemed like it was more emotion than any sort of reasoning. I mean, it is a 'metal box' and weather conditions could affect it, but all of that can still be changed and modified. Ethan just seemed more irritable and in a bad mood this podcast, hope he's doing ok.

After watching this, the Shkreli interview at the end was surprisingly good. Erik did a seriously good job as an interviewer.

Man, Erik is great for the podcast. He is absolutely killed the Shkreli interview with great questions on the spot. Ethan, keep Erik on the pod cast! He brings a lot to the podcast.
Ty Strong he just needs to stop the lame jokes and he's good
Ty Strong he called Shkreli a clone and gave an option that anyone blindly following the media would have, sounds quite hypocritical. Also anytime shkreli tried to bring up real points about why he isn't a bad guy (like literally developing a drug that cures a disease) he's like yeah but what about that donation, when in reality donations just go to companies and people like shkreli in order to develop the treatments further. Which although not doing a big press release to seem like a 'good guy' he stopped paying himself at this point. He currently doesn't make money from his company cause he puts it all back into further developing it. What great thing did Erik do to make him an expert in both morality and the pharmaceutical industry. Also his humour is highly unoriginal.

Shkreli didn't invent a drug. He bought the patent to one, maybe more, then resold it for more than ten-fold.
Victoria L Shkreli literally took a life-saving HIV medication that was $13.50 a pill and raised the price to $750 a pill. You don't have to be an "expert on morality" (whatever that means) to see that he's a greedy, shitty human being.
I loved the absolute chaos of the last 30 minutes of the podcast trying to get to Martin. The echo, the fact that Martin was listening to the stream and it was 20 seconds behind, and he put his number on a livestream and answered random calls.
Too many people are complaining about comments complaining about Erik that I don't see, let's start complaining about comments complaining about comments complaining about Erik, keep the cycle going

Idk I definitely see a pretty equal amount of hate vs praise. I personally think all the criticisms people are throwing at Erik could be thrown at Ethan. I get it's hard to be funny for 4 hours straight once a week but Ethan can be kind of a prick. He will just shoot down someone else's attempt at being funny by taking it seriously. Like if someone said a ghost farted on my face (I know it's not funny. Just showing Ethan's behavior) and Ethan will say "Well I don't believe in ghosts. they're illogical". I love Ethan but he isn't some untouchable meme lord like people think.

I feel like Jesse got kinda robbed on this one. I was really interested in his stories and background, then about halfway through it turned into a quest to talk to this other guy and Jesse is just left sitting there. He was an awesome guest while it lasted.

Dear H3H3,
I want to say that I've immensely enjoyed the Podcast over that past couple of months. Tuning in has become one of the best parts of my week. I know Ethan, Hila, Erik, Dan, and everybody behind the scenes are trying their absolute best. However, I wanted to criticize the new segments. I personally, feel like Dan and Erik's segments can be awkward for the guests. This week and last week Rudy and Jesse were practically silent during the Conspiracy Closet/ The Newds. I think guests like Erik, Jacksfilms, and Post do a great job riffing on internet news, or talking about the latest Jake Paul video. However, normies (no disrespect) like Rudy and Jesse are out of the loop, and unengaged during these segments. I think you might have better luck bringing them out of their shell if you send them a memo about the segments beforehand. Maybe you have already done this, but I wanted to throw in my two cents as politely as possible. Again, I Love the Podcast and the direction that you're taking it, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on how to make a small improvement (IMO). *Also, I hope to see Cow Chop on the Podcast one of these days!!*

Erik from "Comment Etiquette" has a mind very similar to Ethan. He just expresses himself differently. I haven't seen any hate being thrown his way, but... he still deserves more subs. Maybe he'll diversify a little bit to gain them. That's just my opinion.

I wondered for so long why erik doesnt have more subs and views, these passed couple podcast comments made me realize alot of the younger audience dont really get his dry humor what so ever and then some how get triggered so hard by it. Its very eye opening.

We get his humor, and we are not triggered by him. We just think hes a normie whos dialogue is so forced and inorganic and that he only serves to make the podcast slightly worse by making it about himself and subtracting from the guests.
I'm only 40 minutes into this but why is everyone hating on Erik? He's only contributing when it doesn't disrupt the conversation, and what he says is always a funny or intelligent contribution.
Idk I think he adds a lot and never speaks over anyone. Only person to make me laugh out loud the entire episode.
Overly opinionated, tries too hard to be funny, makes corny jokes randomly while people are talking (HES A CLONE xDDD). Conspiracy corner was funny for about 60 seconds and then it got redundant. He brings the quality of the show down.
I think they all wanted more Jesse story's and interview (which was rly interesting). But in the middle they cut him off to do this conspiracy segment with Erik

Maybe people don't know him well and that is why they are not liking him. Have you ever seen him in anything else or are these podcasts your first experience with him?
I saw a lot of people complaining about the structure of the podcast, many not liking that Ethan doesn't focus on the guest that much. I think what most of you don't understand is that this isn't your regular podcast, Ethan has stated many times he would like this to have the format of a show. That's why they're implementing different segments like Erik's Conspiracy Closet and the news thing at the end.
Personally I love their idea, I absolutely adore the Pinapple Boy and think he brings so so much to the podcast and I'll be sad if they decide to drop his segment.
However, this is very obviously still a beta version of the show, they still have a lot of things to work through to make the podcast run smoother so I think we should back off with the hate and give them time to figure it out.

We absolutely should listen to constructive criticism and to people that disagree with you? personally i don't like the segment because it brings everybody out from a genuine discussion, and most of the time the quest is almost silent the whole segment. It doesn't fit the rest of the podcast. No i don't absolutely hate it, but i think the podcast would be better without it.

Hadn't seen any of his content until he came onto the H3 Podcast, and even if I hadn't gotten into his work, I am still not understanding this hate coming from a fan-base that is normally so open. I think if anything, the argument should be that the format for this podcast is better suited to three people, or that the segments don't mesh well with guests.

I truly think he elevates the podcast and makes it much better. He’s a great wing man. To those that don’t like him, give him a chance. The more they do this podcast, the better everyone will get at their roles. I hope they keep him as a permanent side kick to the podcast. And clearly there is a lot of people that feel the same way as me.

Have had my eye on his case for a really long time, and i must say Eric made some good observations. it felt like he knew what was up and down. would really have like to hear him regarding his ended case vs big pharma status, and how they managed to set this whole thing up without drawing attentions to big pharma's way of doing business
