This was just a milestone for Hila. All the videos afterwards she’s just killing it. More talkative and funny. She really does push herself to conquer her nerves and with Ethan there for support, Hila is just growing as a person every video. Love you guys. I agree! It’s interesting to hear how they form/structure sentences. It make me curious about how their native language sentence structure/verbiage would work.
@@TheLights045 it seems like often times people who learn english as a second language generally have a better understanding of proper english. Most native English speakers pick up speech patterns from birth, and never really have to learn all the rules and structure of how a sentence is formed, where as non-native English speakers speak based on the proper English sentence structure and not using the modified version of English that we do

Every time Ethan talks about creating content he seems to care more about whether people will like it or not. But he's forgetting they've made some crazy experimental stuff in the past which has turned into their most memorable stuff.

He's always cared, everyone does. Ethan has never been a brave fearless artist, he's just a good guy who does his best. When they were experimental they were probably trying to grab the attention they didn't have yet.
I think if he does continue to chase what his fans want, it still wouldn't be cookie-cutter content. But of course their out-there ideas are the very best. I have some faith in them to stay enjoyable for infinity-ish. I think they'll drop off a bit when they have a kid, which is OK.

Hila I completely 💯agree about the Louis CK issue. He has been my #1 fav comedian for years!! Right in front of Dave Chappell. And when I heard, I felt sad. Like I idolized his comedic style so freaking much. His specials got me through some tough times. I obviously don't know him personally, but it still hit me harder and in a depressing way, where others discrepancies coming to light, didn't.

So to preface this: i’m half Nicaraguan (my dad) and I’m white (Welsh) & Jewish from my mom, her mom’s family are Jews & her dad’s family are Welsh-Americans. So i’m a Jew through my mother (but I was raised ignorant of Judaism & greater Jewish culture, so i’m Jewish by blood only ) since it comes matrilineally.
Anyways, here’s the story: I was in Nicaragua visiting my dad’s family early in 2020 (right as Covid-19 was becoming a thing) and I ended up going to a beach on the Pacific Coast called Guasacate and that’s how I learned about how after the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) lots of young Israeli veterans go about their months (sometimes a year) long vacation, and at Guasacate I met two young fresh IDF veterans. One was a cool lesbian (I won’t be sharing names of anyone) who was Ashkenazi (a Russian-Jew to be exact) and a cool straight guy who was Mizrahi (a Persian-Jew to be exact) and I ended up becoming friends with them.
I felt a weird connection to them that I cannot ever explain, I told them about my ancestry and how I didn’t ever consider myself a Jew (because of my upbringing) and they both said “that’s dumb, it came all the way through your mother to you, you ARE a Jew, whether you practice Judaism or are culturally Jewish or not” and it made me feel so good, and happy, and reaffirmed!
Anyways, I ditched my Nicaraguan cousins and spent serval days with them (the Israeli duo), we all pitched in for nice beach bungalows rather then stay at hostels. We’d party in the evening at the hostels and get drunk and sing and dance around beach bonfires.
I’d been to Nicaragua almost every summer growing up, but this time was the first i’d ever met Israeli Jews, and they treated me like family.
We all still FaceTime and play video games all the time when not working or busy.
