BEST THAI STREET FOOD TOUR IN BANGKOK THAILAND (Chinatown and Night Markets)

- We're in Bangkok, Thailand and we are trying all the BEST street foods we can find through Chinatown and the energetic night markets! Before we set off on our street food tour, we hoped in a tuk tuk down to the boat station, and then went up river on a Thai long tail boat to the Taling Chan Floating Market! We grabbed quite the street food haul here and devoured it at our table. Afterwards, we strolled through the Buddhist Temple Wat Pho and found the biggest Buddha ever, reclining inside a massive building! Once we had room in our stomachs to eat again, we head to Chinatown for more street food! The crowds and energy were incredible! We found a popular Pad Thai and had to try it out. We wish we had shown up hungrier! Bangkok is an amazing city, with so much to do! We're definitely coming back.

Yes that's a Pomelo not a grapefruit
What you had was not grapefruit, but it's Pamelo. Pamelo is bigger than grapefruit, but it tastes way better. In Thai, it's called "Som-O'
Crazy how busy Bangkok is. You guys are having the best time at every place you go. I would love to know what your favorite place you have been so far. ❤
That is not the grapefruit, it's special kind of pomelo called Tubtim Siam or Thai Ruby. It's only good if it grow in Pak Panang area at the south of Thailand. The price is 4-5 times more expensive than the regular pomelo. Good picked guys. That is not easy to find fruit.

I went to Bangkok in 1989, I loved it. I love the smells, and the sounds. I would love to go back sometime in the street food and all the riding around in the tuk-tuks. Oh, I love the floating markets how beautiful they were. And then we took one of those interesting boats with the motor that hangs out the back and went down through the canals, kind of sad to see how people lived. Then we went to the emperors palace, and he heard all the history of how his wife died. It was really interesting. It was interesting. It was five baut for anywhere we wanted to go.
1989 that was long time ago. Thailand has changed for a better but people are the same. Hope to see you back to Thailand soon. Land of Smile is waiting for you 🙏😊

"Floating market" is located in Damnoensaduak, Ratchaburi Province where is 2 hours away from Bangkok by car. You've been tricked by those Security (guys in uniform) and long-tail boat gang. Welcome to Thailand
Back to the past, Thai people who lived beside the river -the canal purchased and saled stuff on their boat. That's why we call foating market.But nowaday they buit the market on land, beside the canal instead.

Did you guys make it to the Lunar New Year celebration in Chinatown yesterday? It was insane but so much fun! 😊
I saw my Podiatrist last week. He is Asian and went to Thailand and New Zealand for five in December and January. It was on his bucket list. He said the food in both countries was so good. He had a wonderful time. He flew to Korea from New Year first. He said it would be a 30 hour flight from New Zealand to NY if they did non stop. That is in Zane.

Yes! Really enjoying the videos. That grapefruit was a pomelo! So huge and crunchy juicy. I love them! Pomelos can get huge! But are always delicious even though they are a bit less juicy, they are a delight.

That grapefruit some call it Pomelo but we call it Jabong it come in two colors the pink one that you guys was eating it more on the sweet side and there a white one but that is a little more on the sour side. I love eat it. You pick and let it sat for a couple days then peel and clean it. Put it in the icebox to come cold and then you eat it...

A bunch of pink fruit eaten at the hotel called "O orange" comes in two colors: pink and white. Pink is more expensive (as people like it).

That’s not the floating market. If you want a real floating market, go to Can Thơ, Vietnam at 6:30 in the morning. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Because in the past, there was a trade on the boat. Farmers will bring agricultural produce in the boat at that place. There was a time when those cultures were almost extinct. The government therefore revives folk ways to come back to life again
