- Thai street food really is some of the best and cheapest in the world, so we were very excited to explore Bangkok's best morning market for breakfast. As well as a few Thai classics and favourites, we also tried some exciting new street foodies we have never even heard of!

I wish my daughter isn’t so picky if comes to food! She doesn’t even eat rice. By the way she is half Thai-American. My mom would be so upset knowing that my daughter doesn’t eat rice!! I’m too scared to take her home to Thailand to see my mom lol

Looks so much fun. "Yum Pla Dook Foo" or the Spicy Fish Salad is a hidden gems. Though you can find it in every markets, it's popular mostly among Thai ppl.

As you may know "Yum" is a spicy salad and "Pla Dook" is a catfish and "Foo" means something like spongy or puffy which refers to crushed catfish meat deep fried in hot oil.

The fish you’re eating is called catfish salad, what they did was they steamed the catfish then took the meat and deep fried it. I’m Thai American, born in Thailand and raised in the USA for about 45 years. Every time I went back I would always get that dish in the restaurant

it's deep-fried catfish, you have to mix the fish, mango and sauce together. you're doing it right.👍
Tips: Thais usually eat foods with rice. because sometimes the food is too salty, too spicy, too oily or else when eat it alone (you may noticed). to eat with rice will help balanced the flavor.

What a fun challenge! I want to know where the breakfast market is. Going to have to try to look it up. We had so many food stalls just outside our room. Made it so easy to find lots of new foods to try. I miss when my kiddos were learning to talk. So cute with his watermelon. Darian knows what he wants!
