Allen, you've become my new favorite fishing coach. I like to think I fish a lot, but I still pick up so much info from you. I tie some pretty mean marabou jigs for pyramid. I'd be happy to tie some for you as a thank you for everything you've shared with me 🤝
A lot of the stripers are headed back to SF Bay now. I've been catching some in Liberty for the last month. Some days there are lots and some days its just limits. You can catch on LV500, 5" swimbaits, chatterbaits or spoons.
Alan, where do you suggest fishing at the deep water Chanel by the port? I’m in the club and have gotten skunked the past 3 times there. Go down to the farm house and come back up and get nothing. Any tips are appreciated
From my experience, the port is better in the winter months when the Sac river gets blown out. I like to troll my kayak from the palm tree to the big house using A-rigs or drifting minnows in 12-16ft of water. If I were you then I would probably fish elsewhere until the fall/winter (Just my two cents)
The port for stripers is best during high water in the fall n winter months. Once in awhile there is a school that goes in and exits real fast to. But during the winter they stay in their for a few days at a time.
I just use the boat for a year then GFM sells it at a very good discount. It's rigged with the best equipment. It will have about 30-40 hours at the most on the motor.

That be great but the only time I get up to Pyramid Lake is opening week and I mostly spoon or gitizs.

You bet hope it helps
Great Info. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
What’s the best area for the striper action on the delta. Also are they hitting the lv 500? Thanks for the report

Hey what you been doing? I've been too busy consulting electronics and have no time for doing videos right now.
Berryessa been good for 3lb and less on topwater. Went 2 days this week. Smaller Sammie was good
Yes the top water bite has been good in morning. I was catching lots on flutter spoons couple weeks ago and a friend is still catching them spooning.
Selling the boat…😮! AFOs new build in the works? What will it be…hmmm?
