    Basic planking while wearing a right side inguinal groin hernia belt completely solved my issue, and it didn't take long. I started off with doing 5 second planks for 5 to 10 sets. Gradually my holds became longer and the sets were from 3 to 10 depending on how I felt. Now I plank whenever I feel like it all through the day. I no longer wear the belt because I no longer have a hernia issue. Give basic planking a try, it could work for you as well.

    I just do the soccer ball squeeze (squeeze btn my thighs, the widest part being just above my knees) while on my couch for at least 30mins while watching tv (this is less of a chore when distracted watching tv). I squeeze the soccer ball constantly with slight to moderate pressure (scale of 1 to 10, 10 being squeezing with all my strength, I squeeze btn 5 to 6 mostly, but as low as 3 and as high as 8). My inguinal hernia went from feeling like a golf ball to nothing within a week or 2. I work out without any issues now. And I don't feel it otherwise. This is my cure. I do this every day! That's the key I think. I've been doing this for about a year. No more inguinal hernia (note: i was suffering with it for about 3 years prior - not bad enough for surgery but bad enough that I could feel it while walking or working out).

I start to feel my inguinal hernia again) is the plank exercise, and the hard-style (soft-style is fine) kettlebell swing which is how I got "it" in the first place.

    Hello Logan, This isnt exercise but in addition to exercises you are showing I am using a new technique for my inguinal hernia you might be interested in ie.since blood flow to this area is difficult, its "suction cup therapy" (kits available on ebay for under 11$), the procedure is to apply a couple cups in the area around not on the bump since this is where the reformation of the muscle would begin, leave on for 5 minutes. The crazy thing is an immediate improvement after one 5 minute session, of warm circulation that I have never had , its like I needed the hernia to produce a better level of health, or this hernia was way more debilitating than realized. Shalom, be well, God bless, and Happy Holidays.

      If you don't mind me asking a few more questions:
      •Was the ache and pain near the bulge of the hernia or around the testicles (perhaps right above the testicle)?

    Your video is one of the better ones that I have seen. It’s easy to follow and understand. I’ve had an inguinal hernia for over 23 years. It has been such a trial to live with. I’m very interested in trying your exercises to see if I can get some results. Are there any dietary recommendations you would make? (I am vegan.)

      @GrantMeTopics  2 года назад +5

      Thank you, George. I’m glad to hear that.
      Oh, wow…over 23 years is a long time to have had a hernia!
      I hope you have good results from the exercises that I recommend.
      As far as dietary recommendations, I would say try to avoid gluten, dairy, processed sugar and try to keep caffeine and alcohol to a minimum.
      Having a healthy gut is one of the most important things to healing the body naturally, so I think making that the focus would help you.
      I want to be clear that although I know about hernias through personal experience and study, my healing was not through my own efforts. I was at the point of giving up and I was in the process of scheduling surgery, but Jesus was so kind as to heal me after asking him, though I am so undeserving of His kindness. I know for a fact that it was Him because my intestine was in my scrotum and in 3 days the hernia was completely gone.
      Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional, so take my advice at your own risk.

      That’s incredible and super encouraging!Thank you. I’d appreciate your prayers as I am at a loss with mine. I’m pretty sure I’m doing almost everything I need to for it to heal, but for several reasons mine got worse over the last several months (I think the stress of moving 4 times had something to do with it) and it protrudes into my scrotum again, but this time it hasn’t improved by doing the same things that I did before. I’ve tried using hernia belts to support it, but because mine is indirect the belts don’t do much good. I’d really appreciate your prayers!

    Hi Logan..I have had this inguinal hernia for five years..lately i have been into brisk walking as a part of my weight loss journey, but I felt my groin inflamed as days goes by? Is this briak walking cause may hernia in groin to bulge? Another question is, if I don't have soccer ball, what thing is the best alternative to do one of your exercises that uses soccer ball? Thank you and more power..

    • @GrantMeTopics

      I don’t think so, because in my experience and study brisk walking is very good for the hernia.
      If you don’t have a socket ball, that’s okay, you can use a pillow or rolled up towel. Pretty much anything that has a little bit of squish to it, but enough firmness to give some resistance should work fine. I just prefer the socket ball.

      I do. I’m generally a very active person; I workout often. I will even weight-lift sometimes, but I just have to adjust it to my needs. I do a lot of other things besides weightlifting, but here is my video on how I power lift with an Inguinal hernia:

      And sorry about the hernia. It sucks to have one, but thank God you caught yours while it’s small. The sooner you take care of it, the better. Please take a look at my other videos; I give a lot of tips that I think will help you nip it in the bud.

    Hi Grant, Thanks for posting. What forms of physical activity are fine to do? e.g. is running okay? and calisthetic workouts like pushups and pull ups?

    • @GrantMeTopics
      @GrantMeTopics  Год назад +1

      It depends on the person, the type of hernia, and the severity of the hernia.
      I did all of those exercises when I had a hernia, but I had to modify how I was doing those things. For example, I wouldn’t do them to failure, I would do many sets of fewer reps so that I was seldom straining my core and forcing pressure on the hernia.
      My recommendation would be to try them and adapt them and find what works for you. If it causes your hernia to get worse, then definitely stop. If it causes you pain or discomfort, I would adjust how I’m doing the workouts.

      That's not a dumb question! And the answer is no. I was at a loss towards the end because in spite of my best efforts to heal naturally, my hernia kept getting worse. I prayed and asked Jesus to heal me and even though my intestine was in my scrotum, within 3 days my hernia was completely healed. Without a doubt, Jesus was the one who healed me.

      With regards to The Prayer and the Healing in Three Days, I do not doubt you.I personally don't "believe in Jesus" or believe Jesus is real, but I can relay a similar story:
      I had a Sty on my eye and it got really bad (Pink Eye, etc).. When I finally resolved it, I had a hard lump under my eyelid that wouldn't go away. After a month it started getting bigger. It was very hard, like a rock stuck in my eyelid. After about 4-5 months, a woman came up to me at work and struck up a discussion about it. She said it was called a Chalazion, and she knew that cuz she just had an operation to remove one. She ended up telling me that the only way to remove it was to get surgery.. I didn't totally accept that cuz I was already skeptical of Medical Dogma..
      About 4 months after that, I started going out with a girl who was going to Medical School for Naturopathy (Alt Healing). Even SHE told me that there was no alternative other than surgical removal.. I went out with her for several months but it didn't work out.. a couple months after that, one day I woke up and it was GONE.

Everyone I spoke to about it, including a Woman getting a Degree in Naturopathic Medicine, an Eye Doctor, and a Woman who had one removed ALL TOLD ME that it would never go away without surgery. It HAD to be surgically removed. Then, after a year - Long after I gave up trying treat it - I woke up one day and it was GONE.

      Ernesto Miguel Credito
      Hi. I apologize for taking so long to respond. I didn’t see your question until now.
      I see. I’m not a doctor, so this is only my opinion: I think if you’re doing these exercises and making sure you are getting in the proper nutrients for your body to produce collagen, and getting proper rest then you should be able to keep lifting weights. I would suggest doing a castor oil massage on the area that’s in pain every day for a week, and see if that helps. I highly suggest doing stomach vacuums on a daily basis to strengthen your transverse abdominus. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger did vacuums.
      Listen to your body, if you feel too strained, then lighten up your weights for a while to give your body a break.
      I hope this helps!

      Well, I’m no doctor, but I’d recommend seeing a chiropractor about your back and hip. That’s what I’ve done and chiropractors have been very helpful.

      Yes, I found that to help quite a bit. Don’t ice it for more than 20 minutes though, with at least a 30 minute break in between icings.

    Dear I have right inguinal hernia can we cure it by exercise and nutrition

    • @GrantMeTopics
      @GrantMeTopics  2 года назад

      I believe so, but even though that is the approach I took with the one I had, mine did not completely heal until Jesus miraculously healed me. I had somewhat given up on trying to heal naturally and was trying to get surgery. Long story short, I asked Jesus to give me the faith that He would heal me and within three days the hernia went from the size of a walnut down in my scrotum to being completely gone. That was in April and it has not come back since.

      I can’t promise that doing these exercises will cure your hernia, but I do believe they will help you manage your hernia and even reduce it. For best results, pair these exercises with a highly nutritious diet. Don’t overeat, and don’t get constipated. God bless.

    • @GrantMeTopics

      I think it’s okay to eat meat, but I try to only eat it in moderation because it can be difficult to digest. Quality meat is good because it has protein, amino acids, and fats that our bodies need to heal, grow and create new tissues.
      Usually I’ll have meat only a few times a week, but I still eat a lot of protein through plant sources because it’s easier to digest, it’s less expensive, and it’s easier to find.

    • @GrantMeTopics
      @GrantMeTopics  3 года назад

      You’ll have to give it a try to find out.
      If jogging causes pain or cases the hernia to come out or get bigger, I would recommend not jogging. Jogging and running tends to irritate mine, so I like to go walk up and down bleachers or somewhere with a lot of stairs. I’ll usually go up and down those for 30 minutes.

    I just do the soccer ball squeeze while on my couch for at least 30mins while watching tv (this is less of a chore when distracted watching tv). I squeeze the soccer ball constantly with slight to moderate pressure.
