@@yourknightmanny i dunno man, going teaming up with a robot from like a thousand years in the future and with a guy who you killed his best friend in front of him and turned him into a frog, now that's not awkward, that's just "hoping that one of these enemy's kill me" awkward
Most of the time my Party for this particular Sidequest would be Frog, Lucca & Magus mainly because most if not all of the Enemies in the Northern Ruins are weak to Fire.
That's a good team, especially having access to Flare, Fire 2, and Frog Flare. Glenn having a multi-target healing tech also helps balance the Party when you end up wounded and need healing. HEAL!
Magus, aka Janus is recruitable. However, if you have Frog (Glenn) in the Party, and you talk to Magus at the ridge of 12,000 BC, you get to face him 1 vs 1, Magus versus Frog. If you did it this way, the main ending (+main ending variants) of Chrono Trigger will be affected that Frog, or shall I say Glenn appears in his human form (took some time for the curse of Magus to wear off.) Lucca does a double-take wondering who that was when he gets into the portal, but then calls him handsome or something to that effect. Been a long time since I saw that ending variant, but it's really true, it's in the game.
Yup, and that applies to nearly all the 600 AD and 1000 AD Mysterious Chests that exist in both periods. Check each of them in the past, then head to the future to collect the enhanced goodies. Then, going back to the past for the originals too.
I edit out some parts to streamline the viewer experience. If I were to grind Skill Points for 2 hours strait in 65,000,000 B.C. at the Hunting Range, and that was a multipart video, I feel like people would get annoyed or otherwise be uninterested in watching such a thing, for the most part (not including livestreaming on sites like Twitch). When you gotta get somewhere but there is maybe a couple minutes or travel time, like if you had to use the Mountains above Truce for the portal just to go back to get something you forgot in an earlier part of the game, I'd just edit that all out so it's like Goku's Instant Transmission, like fighting Spekkio at the End of Time, then resuming where I left off by doing the travel time "offline." so to speak.
15:18 As Glenn (Frog) and Cyrus are talking with each other: 'At the Bottom of the Night' 16:24 As the Masamune rises up with Masa & Mune taking humanoid form: 'Frog's Theme'
I believe this can be done like all the other sidequests *after the events of the Undersea Palace* when Goku dies restraining Raditz and Piccolo uses the Special Beam Cannon technique on both of them. Though you need Epoch with wings to get around, so technically it's after the Blackbird events too.
The Gold Rock part? That's Denadoro Mountains in 600 A.D. You originally go there during the 'Tata and the Frog' chapter when trying to retrieve the Hero's Medal to show Frog.
Magus must be feeling so awkward XD
hahaha, that's exactly why I put him in the party with Glenn (Frog).
I doubt he feels anything that resembles awkwardness.

Bro freakin magus tho
@Jonathan Joestar but meaner tbh man Nintendo games had so many insane and weird concepts now that I'm thinking about it, THAT sounds normal.

And here is me,who kill magus cause I thought you can't add him to the party...

@@StoneMonkWisdom This makes such a difference in terms of the quality of the viewer experience. Thank you!
I named him pong
What's the theme when the masamune gets an upgrade?

when can you start his sidequest like what chapter? google is not helping at all

Do your weapons level up when you have two identical of it?
Negative, that's an extremely rare mechanic in video games, generally speaking. I can't even think of a game that does that.
Where the fuck is the place at 25:22?
