Wolverine comes to Japan to meet an old friend whose life he saved years ago, and gets embroiled in a conspiracy involving yakuza and mutants.
Days of Futures Past is one of the greatest comic book movies of all time.
I like the sentinel’s design in that movie, especially in the future. Its was so basic yet terrifying.

This movie sticks close to the comics of Wolverine’s background of being in Japan. In the comics he has a strong relationship with Yukio, Mariko, Viper, and Silver samurai. He is a trained ronin in the comics.

Wolverine full skeleton has Adamantium not just his claws
Hugh Jackman still got it, his Wolverine voice and roars still give me chills
Days of future past introductions in that post credit scene
He still has Admantium in his body, he just lost the claws which were chopped off... But Magneto will restore them for him
if u don't understand how professor X is back, he transferred his conscious (before Jean destroys his body) to his brain-dead twin that was hospitalized in the 3rd movie (Last Stand)
why is he still in the chair if his original body (that was paralyzed) got destroyed and that's his twin's body? the twin was born brain-dead and stuck in a coma his entire life (physically never learned to walk)
his twin got only the vegetable half of life💀

thanks for the reaction. In the comic, Logan and Mariko were engaged. And, Logans Japan adventure in the comics was a whole series by itself, so a movie had to be made for that part of his life.

@@Andy-Bodhi i dont really think people are reaching. they did it that way for a reason in the other movie. it was definitely a reference to what she said. and i mean, he did die in that room so she was right about that specific vision. she probably sees the other vision too later on offscreen but obviously she wasnt in another movie. and plus who knows if she can even see the same person's future twice. especially if it comes true.
In Japan there’s a valcano with special metal elements inside. people make swords from this metal. This metal can hurt wolverine and leave scars on him. Takes him longer to heal from those cuts

“The Wolverine” is a fun and entertaining movie. I loved the Bullet Train action sequence. I loved how Japan was shown in this film and how it overlaps or connects with Wolverine’s story. Loved your reaction/analysis, take care and have a great one
THE actress that played the viper Doctor isn't Katherine Heigel. It was a Russian model who did an excellent job, Svetlana Khodchenkova.
I didnt realize til Deadpool came out that Yukio in this film is obviously the older version of the one we see in the deadpool film

Origins is interesting because it does feel like an origins. This one feels like you put wolverine and bring him into a side story. Origins is fun but if you already know wolverine it's all kind of a nonsense movie. It seems they're just all around cool on wolverine but they're interested more on other X Men.

During this reaction I noticed this was an extended edition which I’ve never seen so parts of this was completely new to me as well.

and also in this movie, you can see him limping, and then later on in the movie Logan, you could see him limping great details
Logan is still metal. Remember the metal was placed over his entire skeletal system. His claws were the only thing that got chopped off. The adamantium is on his entire skeletal body.
(At 38:14) His claws aren't, but the rest of them still is.
(At 29:56) This is a Marvel villain who was on Big hero 6 (the comic), I think. "The Silver Samurai".
One of my favourite films from 2013, some good underrated stuff that year like Elysium and Pacific rim.
In this, when the claws were cut, it didn't cut the metal out of his body. So he is "still metal" just not the claws.
I can't quite describe it, but part of the charm of the X-Men series is its messy timelines and seemingly random movies. Despite this, each film meets expectations, especially Logan, which I consider an Oscar-worthy masterpiece and my all-time favorite movie. Perhaps I'm biased because I've been watching these films since 2005, so they've grown with me.
Viper is Madame Hydra… she went by different name because movie rights.
She would be a member of Serpent Society as a Captain America villain

Keep this in mind, Days of Future Past Rogue Cut. You've got to watch this cut. There's a lot more added than the theatrical version.
Oh cool, I’m watching that tomorrow for the first time with my family. We have watched the xmen films and now watching the wolverine films before deadpool and wolverine comes out

Before anyone asks, they saw the extended version of The Wolverine which is better than the theatrical cut, but they didn’t watch the Rogue Cut for Days of Future Past. Sorry, everyone. We tried.
12:22 Clint survived Thanos’ snap and was in Japan fighting Akihiko. The latter was portrayed by Hiroyuki Sanada who also portrayed Shingen in this movie. You guys also saw him in Rush Hour 3 when he portrayed Lee’s brother Kenji. His latest work is on the Hulu FX show Shōgun which just got renewed for seasons two and three.

Old Man Yashida was a combo of two comic book villains known as Silver Samurai and Ogun - both of whom are known as direct antagonists for Wolverine.
I figured because that added love hotel scene had me lost lol. In the theatrical cut Logan just passes out on the balcony and wakes up being saved by the vet surgeon
I always thought that Daken would appear on the end credit scenes

Idk if anyone has said this yet, but that 'toy doll' line to yukio isn't a insult, he's being literal. She was adopted to be a friend for his daughter, that's why she keeps saying 'it's hard for Mariko to make friends'... She's useful, not loved 👌🏽

Next is X-Men Days of Future Past, which is arguably the most well crafted superhero movie ever made. Then you have Apocalypse or Logan. I love Apocalypse personally
