Loved this video, I just got the 50mm f2 for my zve10 / a6400 and for the price they are crazy good! gives such a beautiful classic film vibe and for under £80 they are very well built lenses! also so glad youtube suggested me this video! new sub from me
I also have the ttartisan 25mm f2 and50mm f1.2. Extremely happy with them and plan on getting the 35mm 1.4 mainly just to have a 50mm (52.5mm) equivalent. At their prices why not.
Just ordered the f1.2 TTArtisan 50mm. Been using the TTArtisan 17 and 35 for over a year M4/3. Also Pentax-M 28mm is razor sharp on the M4/3 with adapter
amazing photos and i recognize all those places in my area. I've ordered the ttartisian lens and it'll arrive sometime today, can't wait to try it out! manual focus lens is so relaxing instead of the 20fps. great content!
Thank you very much! I hope you enjoy your lens :). It is a very nice feeling to slow down and not rush, like you said. Let me know if you have any questions when it arrives!
I just picked up this lens for my Z FC a few days ago. I have not done much with it but take a few shots around the house since I am not used to manual focusing, but I can't wait to take it on soon.
now i am thinking i should have gotten this instead of the F2 😅. i tried night time photography on F2 but it felt like i could have used a faster aperture.
Have you tried the TTartisan 50mm 1.4 tilt lens yet? I was thinking of getting it for the z50 but I'm confused, part of me wants to get the Viltrox 50mm 1.8 instead...haha. But the tilt lens seem quite fun, like the perfect nifty fifty but idk.
@@RolandKaufmann yeah I don't see myself using it that much too, but the price it's coming in is good. Do you suggest Ttartisan lenses or Nikkor glasses like the 50mm or 35mm in terms of image quality and low light shoot?
got this lens for my lumix gh5 and while I do love the bokeh, the picture is super cropped in so I have to be far back to get shots a lot of times. is it very cropped in on other camera no m4ts?
Yeah it’s an APS-C lens so it only works on cropped sensors or in cropped modes on full frame. So it acts more like a 75mm field of view. You’re right, usually means backing up a touch haha.
It’s a custom button I set up next to the lens. Not sure the name of the feature but it zooms in 100%. Helps with getting exact focus with manual lenses.
@@RolandKaufmann bought this lens and manage to explore the manual focus world , it seems it called focus magnifier feature loving it so far with my a5000 Thanks 👌👌
@@KushagrrGupta that’s quite a range for one lens haha. For wildlife I usually just use the 50-250mm kit lens. For street and travel you could get away with something more in the 16-50mm range. The 2 kit lenses are great options if you’re just getting started. From there you can figure out which exact focal lengths you prefer.
These TTartisan lenses don't look bad from the shots you've taken. Of course I was viewing this on my phone. I just purchased a used 35mm F/1.2 voigtlander for my z50 for $300 bucks I have yet to try. These lenses are pretty sharp though? 🤔
The TTArtisan lenses are plenty sharp in my experience. I actually really like the “art” aspect of the image. It’s not clinically sharp like a lot of the Nikon lenses. There is a bit more softness which I like.
@@RolandKaufmann cool I will look into to them. The Nikon z50 is a really underrated camera I usually keep it in my car or use it at work to always have a good camera with me so affordable small lenses are perfect for it. Thanks for the video!
POV gang!! Last video of 2023! Just wanted to say thank you so much for a great year! Can’t wait to see what the new year brings ✌🏼.
I'm glad I've picked up the 1.2 instead of the f2. Looking forward to doing some night shots
F1.2 at night is pure magic!!
it’s shockingly sharp at F1 .2 (especially for the price) definitely gonna pick it up
For the price you can’t beat it! Hope you enjoy your lens!!

Thanks so much Callum! Yeah it’s hard to complain too much when it costs less than 100 bucks! I was pretty surprised by it as well.

Amazing! It’s an awesome little lens. I love the photos I get from it! I have the 25mm f2 as well when I need a wider frame:

Oh awesome! Take lots of practice shots! Manual focusing takes some getting used to but once you get it it’s a lot of fun 🤓. Best of luck!
Another great video and shots, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you as well!

It’s a race to the lowest aperture 🤓. The F2 is still a great lens!

hello just asking if i buy the camera is it recommended to buy both of lens or just the 16-50mm?
Both of the kit lenses are great if you’re just starting out. They were made for the Z 50 so they work perfectly together.
Man get out of here with those cheap lenses
