Hey Matt, very nice meeting you at the nugget hunt. I'm sure our paths will cross again. May the road on your adventures be paved with Gold. Dig Doug Dig
Matt got my SDC, need to meet up with you for an outing so I can learn a bit! You carry bear spray or a gun? Be careful and thanks for the videos, love them!
Congrats on your gold, I do metal detecting but only thing I found so far was a 1930 wheat penny .That made my day I'm in Missouri so I know what you mean about black bears.like ur video...Joe from mo
Yes they can be claimed. Most, maybe all, states have a way to check if there are claims on a section of land. California for example has a website called MLRS that can be used to check. Good luck 👍
Bro, where'd your thumb go!!! Just joking. Nice video, nice gold. Just curious, how do you guys find the hydraulic pits... I'm not asking for your specific location, but help a brother out
That depends on who manages the land you're metal detecting on. Once you find out who manages the land, you can then check their website to see the regulations for that area. Also make sure there are no active mineral claims if you're looking for minerals. Good luck!
What a blast fam. Keep on having fun and living the dream. Gold Squad Out!!!

Congrats on the new detector! I carry bear spray. Have only had to use it once. Black bears are pretty skittish
Great day , notice you bring your healer on trail , curious how the tics are out there. Ty
Ticks have been pretty bad this year. I pulled one off my dog after this trip
I wish the SDC was more affordable, but they do pay for them selves if you get out enough on good ground.
Good job Matt. 🇺🇸👍⛏️
I was lucky to get mine at a really steep discount. Definitely a step of from the gm1000. Thanks Geno! 🇺🇸🤝

Sometimes my thumb gets camera shy 🤣. Check out old maps. Some of them show locations of mines and hydraulic workings. Good luck!
@@MountaineerMatt because I'm a lazy bum, any link to said maps?? Thanks for the help
Need to meet up someday.
