There are these great little battery booster packs that are fairly inexpensive and does a great job when you need a boost. Also, get a solar power trickle charger to use on your truck. I have to do that one with my old truck. It sits for long periods unused.

It is also my way to break free from expectations, from ideas of society, from my own thoughts I was so convinced of being right for years. When I was watching you, I though „wow, amazing how fast she’s building things“ but primarily also „I love the things she’s creating with her own hands“. And doesn’t this show how much it depends on the person and the view how we „judge“ things? I was surprised when you said people are telling you that you should build and create faster and different. And to be honest it also made me a bit angry. It’s not their right and I appreciate your words in the video about that topic. Thanks a lot! That said, it's human nature to want to help and sometimes that comes in the form of unwanted advise and sometimes criticism. If I have concerns I usually will put it out there in the form of a question and then a person can choose to answer or not. For me I'm just amazed at everything you do however you do it all and find myself missing my youth wishing I could have known about such a life choice as this cause I sure would have jumped at it. So you just keep on doing what you do, soak it all in and enjoy it to the max. And thank you for sharing your dream with us. And btw, that was a fabulous meal! I'm amazed at your culinary creations equal to a five star restaurant!

I'm a grandma, too, but, my siblings, daughter, nieces and (now) ex-husbands have all become self-sufficient without my presence and I can now live without feeling obliged to always pick up the pieces of their lives. I don't want to get any older without traveling and doing everything that I have dreamed of.

Some people will judge and complain regardless of what you decide to do. I believe you need to just continue to be you and trust your instincts even when they fail they have taught you something valuable. You seem happy, your man seems happy, your family seems happy for you and your dogs are especially happy. The studio priority seems like the smart choice because your pottery goals require space and temperature control to proceed. Your van has been your shelter for years and both you and Akela are happy with it no sense in rushing the change. The best thing you can do for yourself is to just be you. Its worked so far.
You are such an inspiration and really bring joy to all of us. At 73 I have spent so much of my life making sure everyone else was happy and able to do what they wanted now I am carving out a bit of time for things that bring me joy. I look forward to videos no matter what you are doing. God Bless

There's a 2 handed tool used for stripping the log called a draw knife that makes the stripping faster and easier. I used draw knives when I stripped logs last summer.

You've taught me to be focused, follow through and accept challenges all to better myself. I am winterizing my little chevy astro for the next several months as I venture to Asia. Upon my return I will be full time living out of my van. And, my little van is my home, and I love my home! I have lived 65 years to date. The lesson to live for you as you choose and stand firm in that "doorway" is the big one! This isn't a dress rehearsal experience...it's your stage to command and it only happens once! So, stay front and center, and experience your best performance!

I’ve come to the realization that most people do not at all understand the amount of work it takes to put in a garden from nothing or to build an outbuilding on your own with no one to hold up the other side so u can screw it together. Learning as you go and making mistakes is all part of it. I also feel like most people are obsessed with how something looks rather than its function. And that’s just not reality when your diving into a lifestyle like this. Also I’d like to add, in my opinion you should never feel stupid for making mistakes in your videos and posting it online. Isn't just waking up and going to the garden to collect breakfast just an awesome experience. Makes the day go better. And whoever installed your truck battery and cables is the one who did the shitty job, not your fault at all. Seeing you build a tanning frame has inspired me to attempt building a frame for my hammock swing from the scrap lumber my dad has lying around the barn. It'll be a good project for us to do together, he just turned 81 & we need more quality time together. It’s all good Linnea, for the longest time I didn’t know you hooked up battery cables with negative first then positive and when you take them off it’s in reverse. I had been going about it wrong for years haha. The colors from your lens is awesome seeing the season change in Colorado is so beautiful. I just wanted to drop a line and say, I love getting glimpses of your life, I love the music you pick for your videos. I find them so calming and inspiring at the same time. My husband and I just completed renovating a new community acupuncture clinic space. We received the keys Aug 1 and the last 6 weeks have been intense trying to get it ready. But each time I tackled a new thing, I had your videos in my down time. Our drywall patches aren’t perfect and we Frankensteined the floor together and nothing is very perfect - but man it looks beautiful. Love this life of learning as we go and most importantly CREATING. PS I’ll never stop weightlifting. I love it. Keeps me feeling younger.

Yes it’s a bit scary too bc she’s 40 minutes from town. I wish she’d do a video of how she would react to getting bit by a snake, spider or any other poisonous creatures out there.
As an artist I think you absolutely have your priorities right! Garden /food and Art ,you don’t need a lot of space just to sleep,and yours is very cozy.Also I loved the songs with the views at the end,thank you for another great video 🌸🌺🌸

I think you are my therapist. I look forward to your videos. Because of you, I am doing more around my home. I actually built a table from a stump and decorated the top with dry leaves and epoxy. Your priorities are spot on. I’d do it exactly the same way. Have you ever thought about bamboo? Lots of types for different zones. Quick growing like a grass and great for a building resource, etc. 🐺

Yay! That's why I love your channel. If I want to watch a house flip or build or any of that, I'll watch HGTV, but I don't! I just enjoy watching each decision, project, ideas you do because that is life. Things aren't done in 30 or 60 minutes, sometimes a project takes days. Plus your videography and music is beautiful and calming.
Keep doing what you are doing Linnea...you have a great channel that is full of creativity. Folks are always going to flippy flap and while that does get old there are so many more folks watching who feel inspired by your creativity. Your channel helped me build out my Sprinter van, so for that I am very grateful!

That's why I have so much respect for this young woman and There's a huge list of things I respect about her I love how she takes care of her dog this might take care of my dog I love the fact that she's not going Film something and Do something that does not truly speak to her and she's not going to do it for views And she's not interested In living a life to appease People and what they think Of how she should do things because If we all step back and take a big huge look at things this world just seems to be getting crappier know better and so I love how she truly does things for herself and goes at her own pace and does what she wants and doesn't go with whatever one says or thinks should be done she truly stays true to herself and I love that about her

I believe you're doing great living on land you love and building different things as you're inspired to do them. Just owning property isn't cheap, so you do you and enjoy the natural beauty. If it starts feeling like work, stop rethink and do something you enjoy. A stationary house will come if it's meant to be.

It’s all good Linnea, for the longest time I didn’t know you hooked up battery cables with negative first then positive and when you take them off it’s in reverse. I had been going about it wrong for years haha.

I just wanted to drop a line and say, I love getting glimpses of your life, I love the music you pick for your videos. I find them so calming and inspiring at the same time. My husband and I just completed renovating a new community acupuncture clinic space. We received the keys Aug 1 and the last 6 weeks have been intense trying to get it ready. But each time I tackled a new thing, I had your videos in my down time. Our drywall patches aren’t perfect and we Frankensteined the floor together and nothing is very perfect - but man it looks beautiful. Love this life of learning as we go and most importantly CREATING. PS I’ll never stop weightlifting. I love it. Keeps me feeling younger.
