I just turned 66 myself!! I am so content and grateful for my single cat lady life!!! Watching Linnea live her authentic life is something I wish I had been able to do when I was late 20s early 30s but at least I got here!!!
Sorry I have another comment: I am laid up today with a migraine and your video was definitely some medicine for me. What you said about how we leave this world alone…and the man experiencing symptoms of a heart attack - had me crying a bit. Almost a year ago, I went to Ecuador for a vision quest. It was 4 days no food, no water, no speaking and no shelter on the mountain. Hardest thing I’ve ever done. But I didn’t know something harder was coming. We had two days at the end back in the house with everybody. The last night a man in our group had a heart attack right in front of the last few of us who were still there. 3 of us worked on him until an ambulance arrived. They did not have any life saving equipment in the ancient ambulance. I went with him to the hospital, he passed while I held his face in my hands. I had only known him for 10 days. I could not understand how this happened without his wife or a family member present. I could not understand how we didn’t save him. He was my age, we were 46. As I felt him leaving, I felt exactly what you said. He was on his own, I couldn’t go with him, I had to release my grip on what I wanted to happen. To save him. To let his final moments be with his wife. It wasn’t to be. Maybe we agreed to this before we were ever born, maybe one day I’ll know. I hope he went gently. I hope your viewers learn to embrace life the way you do Linnea. This is all we get, we have to grab it.

I've never been married or had children, I do have to admit I'm craving companionship at this stage in my life. I admire people who Love solitude all the time, but I'm over it & would Love to share my life with someone else & grow old with them. ALL women are beautiful... there is no need to even try to 'make yourself more appealing.' Sure, do what makes you feel good... get that cool haircut or whatever. But, all the makeup, clothes, and shoes, are just costuming. Being True to yourself and doing what you want to do will keep you young forever. One of the keys to staying youthful in the body is continuing to exercise. What you do will change over time - when I was in my 20s I was a competitive powerlifter. I don't go near heavy weights anymore. But, that training built a life-long basis of strength. People think I'm in my 40s. I love 'dropping the bomb' that I'm 62. Aunt Lynn wants you to know that you have found 'The Key' to happiness. Much Love.

Happy birthday! My youngest just turned 30 last week. The next day, she headed to her happy place, the Rockies in Colorado. I agree that, in the end, all you have is yourself. You have to be able to take care of yourself and love yourself before you can do so for others. It took me a long time to realize that, but I made sure my girls knew it when they were growing up. Again, happy birthday, and thank you for letting us be a part of it.

Happy Birthday!!! Keep thriving!!! I'm having, what I call my "Beatles birthday" soon... 64, bring it! I won't say it angers me, but it disappoints me when I hear 30-somethings complain about, "Oh I'm so old, ugh!" even if I'm in a crowd of strangers I'll find that whiner in the crowd and simply say, "Trade ya!" that pretty much shuts them up and hopefully adjusts their perspective. Age is a gift, not everybody makes it another year, a month or even another day, so how dare 'they' complain about a little twinge in their body. Embrace life and celebrate every day, every year you get!!! I've lived alone since 2000, it's not lonely or scary, I can do what I want, when I want and I can hear my own thoughts, set my own schedule, read, write, draw, paint, play in the clay, my time is my own. Live life your way!!! Embrace it! Blessings!!! Oh, and... In my younger days I had a remote cabin I'd go to on my birthday, a friend would drop me, hike in with me, remove any dead critters and leave, he'd come back as scheduled to pick me up. Life is good!!!

I’m not an avid commenter out here. However your closing comments about going through life alone are so in tune with my thinking that I felt a comment was in order. I share those thoughts and feelings. And would add that having a meaningful long term relationship with someone needs this way of thinking to be affirmed within one’s own mind. Happy birthday!! The 30’s are the best. It’s nice to see somebody so young letting go of all the BS about aging. Do I sometimes catch a glimpse of myself and think “who is that old lady in the mirror?” Yes, it happens some days. But I’d never go back to my 20’s or 30’s. We just get better and better as we go. But I did have a lot of good times in my 30’s becoming more myself.
Also altitude sickness is no joke! Ugh. I had it in Peru really bad. It’s amazing you got a night alone too.
Great video, I like your attitude towards life. I am 62 years old and single, so being alone in ones skin is what we all have and should cherish.

I am 64 and I don’t have anyone to adventure with so I do it with ME and my 3 dogs. As much as I enjoy community and socializing, I am so peaceful when I spend time with myself. This is one of your best videos, Linnea. I was so bummed that Noah and Chris got altitude sickness (I've had it, it sucks), but I know you take joy in the solitude and your own company. You are a wonderful human being, and I wish I'd had your philosophy on life, courage, and confidence when I was your age. At 70 now, I'm beginning my own dive into the nomadic life; expect to be on the road in the early spring, once I get my house and stuff sold. I'm an almost 67 years old I want to tell you that I had no negative feelings to turning 30, but I was content then. That didn't last and my world turned upside down. I envy you and how you live and am living vicariously through you as to how I wish my life could've been.

I can remember the relaxing, euphoric feeling of being in the middle of the woods and the mountains. Unfortunately, life took us on a different path and we're no longer able to go on those hikes. When it comes to your skin you have to protect it from skin cancer. I’ve had Malignant Melanoma in my neck with a resultant 7 inch surgical scar and assymetric face post surgery including lymph node removal. I’ve never had any corrective plastic surgery, only neck and face exercises. I had a spot removed on my leg too. It’s not about the wrinkles for me it’s about Malignant Melanoma prevention.
Such a beautiful place to hike and camp!! I hope your brother and Chris are feeling better!! I also hope the man who was life flighted is ok.

Today I’m 65 🤷♀️ no idea WHERE the time went BUT here I am. Only two things really step out that’s different than when I was 30- my children are grown up, I have a 2 year old grandson ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
and #2, lost my house to electrical fire in the middle of the night in march 2022, we were in an apartment in town after my son got out of the hospital, I wasn’t AT ALL happy !😢 soooo…. Bought a 1964 Glendale Falcon camper , came back to the homestead to plant my gardens while Sorcha was in heet- AND am still here 😄😄😄. The first week brought Sorcha back from wherever she was after the fire. The ONLY home she knew- and we were BOTH happy so we stayed 😊🙏♥️. I changed quite a few things in the camper, making it HOME - would LOVE to have a cubit mini like yours coz nothing else fits 😄. I MISS my wood stove. Ya can’t beat wood heat ! It’s pretty much IN the woods, I’m surrounded, 5 mins in and there’s a brook with smaller trout, I grow my food, freeze/can it and 2 hens for eggs. I go in town once a month ( pension day )

This video really brought to us your message of WHO YOU ARE so vividly clear. I love watching how your life is evolving - and watching all the filming you do of the great outdoors. I am 72 years old, and by the time I was 30 I was divorced and raising a young son as a single mom, working and going to school full time. I have always trusted in myself along the way...taught at the college level, while being a director of an early lab school program before retiring. I did not know half as much as you at the time I turned 30 (except being a mom). I am grateful to experience all you do at your "young" age - and keep enjoying the journey 🤙Mahalo for sharing.
