Great video, I hope to purchase a 2wd model in the coming weeks. You made a side comment on the airbags being for hits from the rear which is not how it functions. Sensors for the airbags are in the front of the vehicle and will not activate if struck from the rear. When you are hit from the rear your entire body actually thrusts backwards away from the dash and of course the opposite happens when hit from the front. Coming from a 45 year retired collision tech. Thanks for the great content!
@my69280sl haha it's all good I was a bit young and misunderstood back when I made this video lol. Also did get rear ended in a different vehicle last year so I understand. I currently own a newer 2wd hiace and love it

Did you import yourself, or have help using a import house? Most people offering import help flat out tell me you cant get the van serviced in Japan (pretty sure they just want the van sold and shipped asap).
I believe the middle seats and rear seats come together to form a bed and that’s why you can bring the rear seats up that far

The flaps in the rear floor mats are to remove the tried row seat. There is a "lever" that you can pull up by sticking your finger in the hole. Once it is pulled up the seat can come up out of the track.
Thanks for the info! It would be nice to occasionally remove that seat to store maybe a motorbike.

I am a little confused what you mean by the last sentence, but I appreciate the feedback! I think you should be able to fit just fine tbh, and if you are truly worried they do sell a High-cab model :D

Thanks for the vid. I’m looking at an identical one and was wondering how much room I’d have behind the second row (facing forward) to put a bed in there. Obviously I’d take the back row out, but do you know the length of room I’d have from the back door to the back of the second row, please?
If you face the second row backwards you may have room for a home made bed but not facing forward at all.

Drove it 6 hours once on the freeway, seemed to handle just fine. It was not loud at all.
Where's the info about that transmission ECT button? I'd like to know what it's for, how and when to use it?
My apologies, although there are many better explanations on those online. Apparently the button changes the shifting times or something when active. I would suspect for higher occupancy etc, offroad
@@happydaily7324 yeah thanks, I found it. It makes the transmission hold a gear longer for like towing or climbing a hill so that the transmission won't keep trying to shift up and down.
