    MEET THE BEATLES the album that really launched Beatlemania. I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND, arguably the most important song. Please Please Me album may have been first...but in the U.S. no one knew it existed.

      Oh so true. I Want To Hold Your Hand is fantastic!

      @@BeatleDustino The song is important because in December 1963 I Want To Hold Your Hand
      took America by storm. Look for the DVD...I Want To Hold Your Hand, SONGS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD on the Impact label.

      I’ll have to look that DVD up. But yes, that song is very important for them in the US.

      I wish the book had some English text in it explaining the box a little better. It’s a beautiful box, but those so many questions on it. Especially why mono on some and stereo on others. But I love these mini-LP box sets and had to have this. And thanks for helping me get to that 500. Without your encouragement to start my channel, and participating in your contest, I would have never started this.

    Nice box..I've had a chance to get a reasonable price but never pulled the trigger. Japanese items are always great quality.

      Yes. I really dragged my feet getting this box, but realizing how similar it is to the In Mono and US Albums, and how much I love those two. I had to have this one too. I really wish they’d release a couple of others in this style, but with the decline of the CD, I doubt it will happen.

      @@jeromeluby787 now you know. I wish there was more info on this though. With everything in Japanese there isn’t much to explain the box and why some albums are in mono and some stereo for example. But it is a beautiful box.

    I have a few Japanese albums, a handful of CDs...but this looks like a beautiful set. Enjoy it Dustino! By the way, love the UHF clips! I love that movie! Weird Al rules! Cheers Matt

      That Japan Box is nice. I absolutely love those three mini-LP Beatles boxes and hope there’s more to come. I’ve always loved UHF too. When I was thinking of a good title for this series all that was going through my head was him saying “let’s see what’s in the box”, so I had to use that. Forgot initially about Brad Pitt screaming it too in Seven.

    Again nice video on this Japanese “Meet The Beatles” Box set. I’m glad you mentioned that the mixes on this set are from the 2009 Mono &Stereo remasters, however unless I’m wrong the Help album includes the mono as well as the original UK Stereo mix from 1965 (same as on the Mono Box)as a stand alone. Please check that out, that was one of the reasons I was going to buy this Japanese set & also because it has a decent amount of the Mono/Stereo box mixes on it at a lower price. I saw this set awhile back a couple of times & sealed for $75-89 dollars but held back which I regret. And as far as I know I never heard of these being faked but they might catch up to them. Again this box is a cheaper way to sample the 2009 mono & stereo mixes in a different album & song configuration! Plus the UK 1965 Help mix too. I’m surprised the Beatles No.5 had bad graphics they probably couldn’t get a good negative?? For the most part the Japanese do a command-able job on everything graphic & especially the audio sound. And when they replicate our U.S. albums they are done to the tee! Thanks Beatle Dustino.

      Help just features the stereo mix from 2009. There is no mono mix on it or 65 stereo. Sorry about that as it would be a good way to get some of those albums.

      Hi@@BeatleDustino, aerialtour was correct about the Stereo mix on the Help disc. It is in fact the original Stereo mix from 1965. You can actually hear the differences in audio between the 2009 remaster and the Japan box version of Help.

      No you did not get this wrong. I did. Went back and checked. The one thing in English in the book is the title and mix. And Help! does state original stereo mix. So sorry about that.

    • @BeatleDustino
      @BeatleDustino  Год назад +1

      Thank you for pointing that out. I did go review this again and found in fact Help! is the original stereo mix. I know a lot on the Beatles, but am not afraid to admit when I get it wrong.

    Where are the songs fron BEATLES 65 and Beatles for Sale.

    • @BeatleDustino
      @BeatleDustino  Год назад

      There was an issue of Beatles For Sale in Japan. They just left it out of the box. The album cover was virtually identical to the UK and same track listing. So guessing that it why it was left out. I wish they would have just included it though. Thanks again for watching and commenting.
