I grew up with his sons Kim,Simon and Seth,Simon passed a couple years ago,met Gene when he returned to the states around '80, I kew a lot about Tom and Jerry while Gene lived in Prague probably the only non communist there😅 but I never knew this,Seth is on Facebook and Kim on RUclips but I've known Sy for years while he lived,all great cartoonists in they're own right, gotta research this, I'm floored 😊
That's so cool! The 1966 Hobbit film was a low budget short film that was created to hold onto the film rights so they could sell them back to Tolkien. It only vaguely resembles the plot of the book. Its probably not something the people who worked on it talked about much haha.
