I don’t know if this is just me liking classical technique better (I’m a violinist so no surprise there) but I really don’t think Doonican’s sound pairs well with Williams’ at all. And also the random percussion really threw me off
You are right the sound doesn't work. But it's not the technique that is bad it's the guitar. It looks (and sounds) like they are going with a direct line to his guitar and not micing it. it makes it sound very thing and bad.
@@smuwu21 I like the arrangement too, but it has some 'clunky' parts and some brilliant parts. There is one for cello and piano that is much more sophisticated.
The original youtube upload was out of Sync, so I fixed it.

Anyone from Brandon Acker's Channel? Haha 😂
Loved the arrangement, loved the expressions, both so joyful : )
What a brilliant piece! Liebestraum is an awesome little number at any time, but these two make it truly joyous! Thanks a heap for uploading Lee!
Has anyone sheet ?
Loved this. Entertainment we wouldn't see on mainstream anymore. Thanks to Brandon for the link. He plays it with Josh Turner, check them out.
Does anyone have this arrangement?

Brandon Acker uploaded a cover of this, which in my opinion, just sounds much bettter.

@@hastyscorpion exactly, the mixture of a spanish guitar with a folky steel string is almost magical when mixed right
It's all a bit of fun at the end of the day!
In Brandon Acker’s version, Josh Turner plays the steel-string part much cleaner which pairs well with Brandon’s classical sound.
I don't like this arrangement. But I do love John Williams. Good upload.
i do like this arrangement
