Man, at first I was like "oh it's simply DP into CA" but then comes all the context and damn I'm blown away by how huge of an accident it is and the mind games behind the sequence!
This reminds me of a time when I won a game in Pokken because for a moment, my brain seemingly switched to Smash controls and I input the wrong move that just happened to be right for the situation I was in. Pretty sure I still lost or forfeit that set, though :v
Good breakdown HiFight! So in summary, Chris had a great read (he'd survive even if he got hit with OD Psycho Upper), and Leshar had a lucky misinput, but was also able to make the most of it by going ahead into CA.
It sounds simple but Ed's DP isn't like that, if you want to cancel it into super you have to cancel towards the end of his active frames or the super whiffs. But he didn't even cancel, it looks like he did the super after he recovered from DP which I haven't seen before from anyone.
@@Picheal43 Ed regularly gets Blitz juggles from L.DP, it begs to reason that his supers which are faster than Blitz are also options but usually not picked unless it will end the round.
@@Picheal43 Yeah light dp anti air naturally combos into super/ultra for sf4 ryu that was the point of OP But the point of the video was that Leshar mistakenly got a move while mashing super and it got him the W. A happy little accident. He also ofc adapted instantly to his misinput and capitalized on it which looks way easier than it actually is.
@@MelheckLeshar said he was going lvl3. Maybe he wasn't adapting but was just mashing lvl3 right from the start. Even if misinput DP hits, he probably can still cancel into lvl3. Even if he missed the cancel timing, he was still doing the lvl3 input anyway. It's not hard to "adapt" when you are already bent on doing lvl3 and is buffering the input.
He got the read right just to get styled on BECAUSE OF A MISSED INPUT
Chris really is cursed lmao
It wasnt a read, he didnt read the misinput. 🗿
I swear i see chris wong get done so dirty in sf6
he's like the best unlucky player in sf6 lmao
@@TheCJRhodes that $700000 prize
His Luke was 10x better than his Akuma imo
my man is a beast but really gets cooked for no reason 💀

Jesus Christ HiFight! The editing in this video is so good!!!
The way they fade into each other and the health bars are the same. *THIS* is quality.

@@SimoneBellomonte Look for Championship Riven, don't know the artist
Good luck
Man, that is so unfortunate for Chris.
thx for explanation of this "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat"
If leshar just did the move he meant to this analysis would've been from the other side lol
What did he mean to do?
@Wolf_TheLoneOne did you not watch the video? It literally shows later on a tweet from him where he's saying he meant to SA3...

Sorry, man, but i don't remember. I just got this on Twitter one day.
Poor Chris lmao, props to Leshar for the amazing situational awareness though!
Both of the players made insane plays holy shit. God I love fighting games
Poor Chris Wong, he's always in this position 😭
Amazing analysis as always!
still amazing that he knew instantly the height is perfect to convert to lv3. great awareness.
Real time “we take those” moment.
Gotta love when a plan doesn’t come together!

Ye, I win a lot of my games on misinputs, then capitalizing on those misinputs. We're all human!
What’s the music here?
Lol he got up scratching his head like wtf
Brutal
Good to know that even champs mess up SA inputs lmao
Something tells me Leshar just went for
I mean its not hard to convert if he was going for SA3 anyway
Spaghetti the game
He just mashed and got lucky, let's not pretend like these guys are gods
I see no accident. Someone did the Demon flip input and the other a DP into CA. Did someone admit to an accidental input ?
yes Leshar made a tweet, it's inside the video
Omg wow he did a dp into super?! Someone show this dude sf4 ryu...
