Simply love your new travelers notebook. Didn’t know they had limited editions out. Will look to see if I’m lucky enough to snag one. The hotel theme one is the one I like, too. Love how you pair things together in your journals. Happy to hear that River is on the mend. So enjoy your videos Ali.🌷

That is an awesome looking edition. I didn’t get any of these limited editions because I was afraid I wouldn’t use them because I’d think they were too precious, and I’m new to travelers notebooks anyway (just got the camel regular size a month or so ago.) but after seeing the hotel limited edition, I kind of wish I grabbed one lol
I think I got a little carried away by the idea of having one of these limited editions. It’s beautiful but I don’t think I love it more than the ones I have already! I’m sure you will love your camel, especially once it has joined you on your adventures! 😄

Love this set up so much!! May i ask how you made your insert with the music staff paper/with the wstercolor paper? Im curious to know what cardstock you used - all of the scrapbook paper I find is almost too flimsy to create a folder like that :)

I don’t think it’s any heavier weight than any other scrap book paper! If you want to make a sturdier folder then I know of two options. First, make a folder out of sturdier card stock and then just stick the scrap book paper to it OR just use the scrapbook paper but paint it with matte medium! Oh bless you ... the new notebooks are beautiful...but the one you have is just as beautiful because it’s personal to you! I love all my TNS but if I had to downsize to one, I’d still choose my regular brown. 😄😘
So difficult to buy in Canada, always sold out.

Is this a b6 slim?
No it’s a regular size, sometimes called standard size, sometimes called narrow size (confusing lol). The cover measures 8 3/4 inches by 5 inches. It’s for inserts 81/4 inches by 41/2 inches. Hope that helps, best wishes, Ali x

What fun to get a new Travelers Notebook, and one of the limited editions, too! Your set up is great. I like the idea of having a designated notebook for travels and adventures abroad. It is a relief to hear that River is back to herself! Thanks as usual for sharing!

I think I’ve managed to buy a Hotel one like yours from Amazon Japan, am keeping 🤞 as it hasn’t shipped yet. How did you find out about them in time to order from Misopaper? By the time I saw box openings on here, they were all sold out (do I have to sign up somewhere to hear about new Travelers Company releases?). Love your set up - I’m also planning to use mine as a proper “traveller’s notebook”. I’m off to London next month, and I’m really hoping mine gets here in time for that!

Good sign lol...I didn’t need it either! I feel guilty now lol! No more TNS for me, I’m just going to focus on enjoying what I have 😄
@@dabblinginjournals oh gosh, no need to feel guilty Ali! You will have great enjoyment using your new TN and that is what matters! I think it is a beautiful TN. I may try and get the black train passport size when the shops restocks. What I would truly love is to travel to Japan and shop the different TN stores. I would probably buy so much that I would need an additional suitcase😆🙄😆

Beautiful new journal. It is so nice. It was great fun watching you unbox and then make your dashboards. It’s so nice place your family in it. You should put a photo of you and your partner in it too. One of these days I am going to get a true journal like you have. Every one is so pretty and nice. Plan your journeys and then enjoy them. A true journal is simply any way that you enjoy recording your memories. I feel I’ve gotten too caught up in the hype of travelers notebooks. Don’t get me wrong, I love the ones I have. But from now on I hope to enjoy using the ones I have rather than buying more. 😘😘😘
Dear Mary, I guess I know what you mean, I felt the same a few years ago. My journaling was just pen and paper, not pretty. Only in travel journals I allowed myself stickers, ephemera and all the goodies. But then I thought "why not doing all the fun in my personal journal??" and started a cheap travelers notebook insert. The first one wasn't pretty, but over time I learned collaging, collected things and got inspired by others!
So have courage and do it the way you love it! Don't worry if it isn't RUclips-perfect from day one. It is fun to see how the style developes over time! 😘

to your message and I think I have trashed it somehow. At any rate thank you for responding to my reply to Ali. It was so kind of you and made me very happy. One thing that I know I lack when journaling is doing it on a regular basis. I am hit and miss and I know that I need to get better at journaling. My journaling was just blah. I have started decorating my journal with stickers, stamps and just about anything that there is to brighten it up and encourage me to come back. I also started to collage. I was a bit confused and started decorating my individual journals like how Ali does her dashboards. That threw me off a bit so I stopped doing it and really almost stopped my journaling. I am back to collage again and liking it. I love color so that is most always used. Maybe some photos and drawings or paintings. If you would like to talk more feel free to email me. I think we could have a good time of it. Well I hope that this one gets through to you. Again thanks for helping me with ideas. You really made my day. 😘

Maybe I get the courage (and the hardware lol😅) to make a journal flipthrough, then you could see my first travelers notebook with wonky and crooked handlettering 😂 and wild style changes every other page 😆🌈
Edit: or maybe one day we have a journal session with Ali in London with a good cup of tea (my side) and coffee (at least on Ali's side 🙃)
