Journaling supplies: 1. my daily log/bullet journal 2. my blank book for longer entries 3. a handful of cheap fountain pens 4. a few bottles of Noodler's ink. All live on the shelf right next to my bed. I take the blank book and a couple pens when I travel. Pretty low-key compared to what you've got going on, but it works for me!
Something I keep in my case is a tape runner. No fuss no mess glueing. Also, uniball came out with some adorable, fine, multicoloured pens called Uniball One which I am currently obsessed with :)
Ahh, this reminded me that my tape runner was not in my pouch! I just had a frantic run around my house looking for it, but it was in my travel pouch from Christmas. Phew! 😂 Definitely a must-have. Also, I just bought the Uni-ball One but I haven't tried it out yet! So excited, especially since I had read that it would write on vellum?! Magical!
I accidentally spent WAY too much on a supplies organizer/pencil case, so I made sure I stocked it as much as I could. A couple fountain pens, stapleless stapler, washi tape samples, mildliners, mini rulers -- you name it, I've probably tried to put it in that case.
Love the pouch! That style of organization is so satisfying to me. My supplies live haphazardly in a bucket, but hey - I can generally find what I'm looking for.
the pouch is SO pretty!! and that's my favourite shade of yellow too, I have a backpack of that exact colour! I love the way you just stuffed as many things as possible in there, totally feel you on that! this video was honestly lovely to watch as I embroider, I don't journal myself, but watching you show your tools and talk so excitedly about them makes my day! so hyped about this channel!
Aww, I'm so glad that you liked it! I've been loving videos like this on other channels for the same reasons and thought it would be time to give this a try again. It's been really fun so far and I'm happy that you're here and enjoying it so far!
I haven't gotten a pouch yet. But it looks like a good investment. I have a shoebox right now that holds my fun stuff... :) I purchase what products hit my fancy. Looks like I now have to put a photo printer into my budget. :) Thank you for the review!
I loved this share. This was a lot of fun. ❤ new sub. I love doing all sorts of journaling and the bag and portable printer is something to really consider. 🤔 thanks again for the share ❤
I mentioned so many products in this video - if you'd like to know more about anything in particular, leave a comment below and I can help you try to find it if it's still available somewhere! The pouch itself can be kind of tough to find in the US but every once in a while, a few colors pop up on Amazon! Here's where I got mine: www.amazon.com/Inner-Carrying-SizeM-CA83-Yellow/dp/B01EH675ZK/
I'm thoroughly enjoying your new channel, thanks for your videos! I just outfitted a similar pouch that has short handles so that I can take it around the house and mine has a pen case with similar supplies as yours (scissors, Kitta, pens), my Zip printer, ephemera pouch and space for my journal and planner. I pop my Kindle on the side and try to find a quiet spot when I need a break. Do you wish you could journal out like I do? Out in cafes and in nature or at a park? I have a vision of that but in reality, it never happens! :) Cheers!
So happy to hear you're enjoying the new videos so far! That pouch sounds wonderful. I definitely imagine myself going out with my journal and working at a café or park, but you're right, it's a bit of a rarity. I do this occasionally when I get stuck somewhere; waiting for my car to be fixed or to get into a doctor appointment when they're behind schedule. I do wish I made time to do this more often though, especially when the weather is nice!
I love this! Loving all the journaling content. A heads up about the photo printer if you havent used it for a while; I used to use an HP sprocket with the Zink paper and over the years, the photos and sticker paper have yellowed so the photos have a bit of a tinge. Not a huge issue but it was a bit of a surprise looking back through it.
@@JournalSunshine I ended up getting a Canon Selphy printer (inspired by Elsibai from My Little Journal) and its great! It was pricy and the ink refill cartridges are pricy too but I have gotten SO MUCH use out of it and it's still going a few years in. Check it out 😄
Ugh.. I know this is an older video, so I hope you get to see this comment.. lol… but that little Ticket Stub flip book you have 😍😍 … I go to a lot of concerts (and journal about them) and the worst thing as an 80’s kid is that they do not give you stubs any longer (all digital now.. lol)- I would love to know if you know the company who makes them? Or where you got it from? Amazing video, amazing set up and stationary… absolutely loved it 🥰
Ahh yes I’m totally right there with you! I always feel like collected ephemera/garbage from my adventures looks and feels better than any general journal supplies I could buy but occasionally I find things that give me that vibe. I believe I found it on AliExpress ages ago, which isn’t super helpful, but you might be able to find something similar there still! It took a long time to arrive but was inexpensive and a nice surprise when it finally got here.
@@JournalSunshine thank you so much for the reply, and the direction on where to go to find this or something comparable. Truly appreciated. Wishing you all the best!… ♥️
Hey! Aren't you Julia who does the cooking channel? You sound and look just like her. I love that channel! Loved your journaling pouch video by the way and all your cool stuff, especially the printer.
@@JournalSunshine You really do look and sound like JuliaPacheco. You can check it out at that channel. I'm not a journaler but I do love to watch people show me what's in their purses, pen cases and pouches. You made your video interesting and fun. Thanks!
They’re the Raymay Pencut! I bought them on Jetpens (but they do have other colors!) www.jetpens.com/Raymay-Pencut-Two-Tone-Scissors-Green-Blue/pd/28451
Thank you! Haha noooo that’s the worst when that happens! After I posted this video, a commenter mentioned their tape runner which made me realize mine wasn’t in the pouch anymore and I had a frantic search to find where it ended up (I did find it).
Hi Sunshine, what a nice video. You tell in the video that you also have a bigger puch, would you like to show it? Or can I see it somewhere else? Love, Dina

I absolutely loved this video, I really want to get into journalling and I've already got a lot/similar things to what you've shown in the video. If at all possible could you link to a few things you've shown please? I'll also definitely be getting myself a journalling pouch, makes like a lot easier to have it in a handy carry pouch instead of in drawers and drawers of crafting things
I’ve been linking to a bunch of things in the comments as people ask for them but at the moment, I don’t have time to prepare a list of everything I mentioned. Are there particular things you wanted help finding online?
@@JournalSunshine hey, that's completely understandable. I'll scroll through and look at the links. Thank you 😊 the thing I'm most interested in is the pouch itself, but you mentioned what it was called at the beginning of the video so I'll go back and look it up. Hope you have a lovely day 😊

Your ephemera made me think, have you ever done penpal letters? I've just started getting into them, and I've loved it so far.
Ooh my friend does this with several people and that’s such a good idea! 😍 never thought of doing it myself until just now
I've done a few one-offs, but they're usually not back and forth for very long. Such a fun idea and a great way to use supplies!
