Having an ex nba player as your dad helped it too and he took things seriously VERY early on. That basically led him to 20 years that all of LA will never forget
What a great presentation by the Great Human being Kobe Bean Byrant. He was so special in many ways, we truly lost a great one along with his daughter Gigi and all the people on that helicopter that day. May they all R.I.P Love ya my G.O.A.T KOBE AKA MAMBA and Gigi Byrant
Crazy how he became so fluent in Italian and so immersed in Italian culture that he forgot how to speak English somewhat once he moved back to the states. Wouldn’t be surprised if his parents only spoke to him in Italian at home so he could learn faster.
It's best for people to learn a language during their formative years, which Kobe was still in at 6 years old. That's only one year off from Kindergarten in the US and when kids of different backgrounds start going to school. I live in NYC and there are tons of "reverse-Kobes". They came to the US when they were 5-6 years old and now they speak fluent English like a native. My former boss was like that. The whole time I thought she was ABC (an American born Chinese) but she came to the US when she was 8. But she speaks English like she was born here. There's a RUclipsr, ASMR Summer, who sounds like she's from NYC but she's actually German. She moved to Jersey when she was 5 and spent 6 years in the US before moving back to Germany. And her English still sounds like NYC-area. I'm willing to bet North Jersey. The thing is, I wouldn't be surprised if Kobe's parents didn't speak to their kids in Italian, because some of the friends who I grew up with didn't speak English at home. When I'm over their house they're speaking to them in Chinese or Spanish. My friend would have to play translator for their parents when they wanted to speak to me. "My mom is asking if you want anything to drink". But my friends still spoke and acted like Americans.
They eventually did, it took some time. His parents raised him right, but unfortunately people make mistakes. Kobe was loved and is still loved even after death.
Kobe had a good head on his shoulders to move into the professional level. I would like the league to take players from HS again to avoid one and done but a lot of young players lack the emotional maturity at that age. Hopefully the ignites and other alternatives to college focus on the mental just as much as the game itself
When u realize kobe’s parents turned on him for marrying a Latina and even sold his memorabilia for a quic buck and kobe talks about how much he respects his parents here. Dam...
@@CharitoAbi-Abi judging by his birthplace Philadelphia,Pennsylvania probably it’s a mix of New-York and Californian accent I’d say and it’s all just mashed together to make Pennsylvanian and Philadelphian accents 🙌

@DMorlio18 the pauses to breathe indicate that as well but knowing Kobe, this is honestly cute and nice to see that this superhuman person is or at least was human at some point ❤
Also the part about lacking communication with classmates -> social isolation -> working harder is something I deeply related with and I’m currently 8y older than him in this video. He may be nervous, but is still as profound as ever.
At 17 he speaks better than most fully grown adults

Muhammad Ali & Kobe at 17 & 18 years old were ahead of their time. They were special at a young age.
He would have been one of the greatest storytellers of all time if he had time to perfect it.
